EOI Space is looking for a Shipping, Receiving & Inventory Clerk to keep materials, components, and equipment moving accurately and on time as we scale from development into production. Reporting to the Procurement Manager, you will receive and inspect incoming shipments, prepare outbound domestic and international shipments, and maintain inventory accuracy in our tracking systems.\nThe ideal candidate is dependable, organized, and detail-oriented, comfortable prioritizing in a fast-paced environment where processes are still evolving, and takes pride in a stockroom the production floor can count on.\nThe Shipping, Receiving & Inventory Clerk is responsible for the accurate and timely movement and tracking of materials, components, and equipment. You will receive and inspect incoming shipments, stage and ship outgoing packages, and maintain inventory accuracy in our tracking systems.\nThis position directly supports build schedules and keeps the production floor supplied. You will work closely with production, engineering, and procurement, and you will be the person who catches a shortage or a damaged shipment before it becomes a schedule problem. This role reports to the Procurement Manager.\nThis is a full-time, non-exempt, in-office position based in Lafayette, Colorado, with a standard work schedule of 40 hours per week.\nResponsibilities:\nReceive, inspect, and log incoming shipments against packing slips and purchase orders.\nPrepare, package, label, and ship outbound domestic and international shipments per company and carrier requirements.\nMaintain accurate inventory records and perform regular cycle counts and reconciliations.\nStage, kit, and deliver materials to production and engineering teams as needed.\nIdentify, document, and escalate discrepancies, damage, or shortages.\nMaintain an organized, clean, and safe stockroom and receiving area.\nHandle hazardous or controlled materials as needed per established procedures.\nCoordinate couriers, freight carriers, and shipping documentation.\nSupport the implementation and improvement of inventory and warehouse processes and systems.\nFollow all safety, quality, and export-compliance procedures.\nAdditional duties as assigned\n\nWhat We’re Looking For-\nRequired Qualifications:\nHigh school diploma or equivalent.\n2+ years of experience in shipping, receiving, warehouse, inventory, or a related operations role.\nStrong attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping.\nBasic computer skills, including experience with inventory or ERP systems and Microsoft Office.\nAbility to lift up to 50 pounds and stand or move for extended periods.\nDependable, organized, and able to prioritize in a fast-paced environment.\nAbility to follow established processes and safety procedures.\nAuthorized to work as a U.S. Person.\n\nHighly Preferred:\nExperience in aerospace, manufacturing, electronics, or another hardware environment.\nFamiliarity with ESD handling and controlled or hazardous material procedures.\nExposure to ITAR/EAR export-compliance requirements.\nForklift certification.\nExperience with cycle counting and inventory control best practices.\nPassion for building and cultivating positive relationships with team members and external vendors.\nContinuous improvement mindset, with a drive for building and maintaining scalable and sustainable processes.\nPeople-first approach that contributes to a welcoming and collaborative atmosphere within the organization.\nPhysical/Mental Demands & Work Environment:\nRequires sitting and standing associated with a normal office environment\nPerforms highly complex and varied tasks requiring independent knowledge and its application to a variety of situations, as well as exercising independent judgement\nRequires the use of office equipment such as a computer and telephone\nMay view computer screens for prolonged periods of time\nMust be able to prioritize activities when faced with competing demands\nThis position requires the skill set to work independently, exercising sound judgement while maintaining high productivity levels\nRequires elevated levels of electronic and telephone communication\nCompensation\nWe believe in compensating our team fairly for the expertise and ownership this role demands.
