In this role, you’ll design and maintain the data infrastructure that powers our health platforms, products, and research. You’ll work with large-scale healthcare data-including clinical records, claims data, and real-time patient monitoring streams-to build systems that are secure, compliant, and built for scale.\nThis is a hands-on role that will directly support our mission of delivering better healthcare through data.\nAs a Data Engineer you will:\nDesign, build, and maintain robust ETL/ELT pipelines for ingesting, transforming, and standardizing healthcare data from diverse sources (EHRs, wearable devices, claims, etc.).\nEnsure data quality, privacy, and compliance with healthcare regulations (e.g., HIPAA, GDPR).\nWork cross-functionally with product managers, data scientists, clinical experts, and software engineers to deliver data solutions that support analytics and decision-making.\nDevelop and optimize cloud-based data infrastructure and warehouses (e.g., AWS RDS, Snowflake).\nMaintain secure, scalable, and well-documented data models for internal and external use.\nMonitor pipeline performance, troubleshoot issues, and continuously improve data reliability and availability.\nStay up to date with data engineering best practices and evolving healthcare data standards (e.g., FHIR, HL7).\nYou will be a good fit if you:\nExperience with real-time data processing tools (e.g., SQL, Python, Airflow).\nBackground in supporting data needs for clinical research or healthcare analytics.\nFamiliarity with BI tools such as Looker, Tableau, or Power BI.\nExposure to MLOps or data science workflows.\nQualifications and Skills:\n2-4 years of experience in a Data Engineering role, preferably in a healthcare, biotech, or life sciences environment.\nStrong SQL skills and experience working with large-scale relational databases.\nProficiency in Python (or similar language) for data engineering tasks.\nExperience with cloud platforms (preferably GCP, AWS, or Azure) and data tools like Airflow, dbt, or similar.\nKnowledge of data modeling, data warehouse design, and data integration patterns.\nUnderstanding of healthcare data formats and standards (e.g., ICD-10, CPT, FHIR, HL7) is a strong plus.\nFamiliarity with data privacy, security protocols, and compliance frameworks (e.g., HIPAA, SOC 2).\nStrong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work in a collaborative environment.\n“So what’s in it for me,” you ask?\nWe pride ourselves on being a culture-based company buzzing with high energy.
