For more information about Eos (NASDAQ: EOSE), visit eose.com.\nAbout the Role:\nReporting to the VP of Supply Chain, the Director of Logistics is responsible for leading and optimization of Eos’s end-to-end logistics operations across transportation, warehousing, distribution, and network strategy. This role is responsible for proposing and executing scalable logistics solutions that support fast-paced growth, drive cost efficiencies, and elevate customer experience.\nAccountable For:\nThe Director of Logistics is responsible for implementing a long-term logistics roadmap that aligns with Eos’s short, medium, and long-term goals. This role will work to translate strategic priorities into actionable logistics and transportation initiatives. The Director of Logistics will drive the management of carrier performance, ensure reliable transportation, and implement cost savings initiatives. They will optimize the logistics network and route and mode selections. They will work to identify, implement, develop and drive accountability with 3PL and warehousing partners. They will build a high-performing logistics team and ensure the appropriate technologies are in place to drive both execution and continuous improvement efforts.\nResponsibilities\nExecute Eos’s logistics strategy and propose initiatives that align with business goals.\nLead initiatives in network optimization, capacity planning, and cost reduction.\nOversee domestic and international transportation operations (inbound & outbound / projects). \nDrive relationships and negotiations with key 3PLs, carriers, freight forwarders, and other relevant logistics suppliers. \nGuide the team on meeting or exceeding key KPIs (transportation safety, delivery/efficiency, quality, and cost-savings) and develop score-carding and reporting capabilities.\nOversee all off-facility warehouse and fulfillment operations.\nDrive continuous improvement in warehousing efficiency, transportation optimization, and safety.\nImplement technology and automation to enhance efficiency and operational capabilities.\nEnsure compliance with local, federal, and international regulations as needed. \nManage logistics risks related to supply chain disruptions or macro-economic events. \nCreate a best-in-class logistics team and drive performance and development. \nFacilitate communication between customers, internal cross-functional teams and logistics for optimized outcomes.\nEstablish trade compliance structure and best practices to drive results.\nOptimize commercial strategy and planning for customer projects.\nOther duties, responsibilities and activities may change or be assigned at any time with or without notice.\nKnowledge, Skills, and Abilities\nDemonstrated knowledge of legal regulations and logistics compliance.\nProven track record in logistics strategy development and execution.\nExperience with implementation and optimization of ERP & TMS systems.\nStrong analytical, project management, and change leadership skills.\nExcellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management capabilities.\nEducation and Experience\nBachelor's degree in logistics or related field required.\nMBA preferred.\nMinimum of ten (10) years’ progressive experience in logistics operations and leadership.\nHazmat Certified preferred.\nTravel\nLocal Travel: 10-25%\nOvernight/North America: 10-25%\nOther International Travel\nWorking Conditions\nOffice Environment - Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time and occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc. Required to have close visual acuity to perform an activity such as: preparing and analyzing data and figures; transcribing; viewing a computer terminal; extensive reading.
