For more information about Eos (NASDAQ: EOSE), visit eose.com.\nOverall Job Summary:\nThe Electrical Systems Engineer is responsible for the design, integration, testing, and support of communications, uninterruptible power supply (UPS), auxiliary power, and related electrical systems. This role ensures system reliability, regulatory compliance, and successful deployment by collaborating with cross-functional teams throughout the project lifecycle. The engineer provides technical expertise in system architecture, power distribution, equipment integration, troubleshooting, and commissioning activities to support critical infrastructure and operational requirements.\nJob Responsibilities:\nDesign, integrate, and support communications, UPS, auxiliary power, and related electrical systems to meet project, customer, and regulatory requirements.\nDevelop engineering deliverables including system architectures, single-line diagrams, wiring schematics, interface documentation, and technical specifications.\nPerform electrical analyses, equipment selection, and system sizing for power distribution, battery backup, UPS, and communications infrastructure.\nCoordinate with internal teams, customers, contractors, and vendors to ensure successful system integration and project execution.\nLead troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and resolution of electrical, communications, and system integration issues during design, installation, and operation.\nDevelop and execute testing, validation, commissioning, Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT), and Site Acceptance Testing (SAT) activities to verify system performance in partnership with Product teams\nEnsure compliance with applicable electrical codes, industry standards, safety requirements, and quality processes.\nPrepare and maintain engineering documentation, reports, configurations, and as-built records throughout the project lifecycle.\nEducation/Experience:\nBachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or related discipline required\nMinimum 5 years of experience\nSkills/Abilities:\nExperience with communications, UPS, battery backup, and auxiliary power systems.\nAbility to read and interpret electrical drawings, schematics, and technical documentation.\nKnowledge of electrical codes, standards, and engineering best practices.\nStrong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.\nExcellent written and verbal communication skills.\nExperience with critical infrastructure, transportation, utility, industrial, or telecommunications environments.\nFamiliarity with SCADA, network communications, fiber optic systems, or industrial control systems.\nExperience supporting commissioning, field testing, and startup activities.\nKnowledge of AutoCAD, MicroStation, ETAP, SKM, or similar engineering software.\nTravel\nOvernight/North America: 10-25%\nWorking Conditions\nOffice Environment - Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time and occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc. Required to have close visual acuity to perform an activity such as: preparing and analyzing data and figures; transcribing; viewing a computer terminal; extensive reading.
