For more information about Eos (NASDAQ: EOSE), visit eose.com.\nOverall Job Summary:\nReporting to the Logistics Director, the Inbound Logistics Manager is responsible for leading the inbound logistics team to ensure the timely and efficient fulfillment of manufacturing requirements, as well as overseeing intercompany equipment movements in support of Eos production. This fast-paced role requires exceptional attention to detail, strong prioritization and problem-solving abilities, and most importantly, effective leadership to build a high-performing team and drive operational success.\nJob Responsibilities:\nLead the inbound (Supplier to Eos factory) logistics team and day-to-day operations, working directly with supply chain & manufacturing to execute on a delivery plan that will meet manufacturing timeline requirements.\nProactively identify risks in supply chain planning & manufacturing processes as it relates to inbound logistics and develop processes to mitigate those risks\nEnsure Transportation Management System is being used and sufficient to set up the team for success. \nMaintain team KPIs & develop processes (or process improvements) where needed to ensure all KPIs are met.\nDelegate expedited shipment requests in a timely manner, document reasons for expediting, drive corrective action cross functionally and drive reduction in occurrences.\nContinually review freight cost & transportation lanes for cost efficiency.\nEngage internal and external resources as needed to ensure logistics compliance including but not limited to documentation, import classifications & hazmat codes.\nBe safety culture supporter within logistics and materials.\nDrive continuous improvement goals and strategies.\nEnsure team has the tools to be successful & mentor team to work at best possible level to ensure world class execution.\nBuild and Maintain carrier strategy and relationships to support the business needs\nDelegate and support the filing of transportation claims as needed & lead Logistics activities to support the claims\nWork with Logistics Leadership peers to develop and document department SOPs\nLead carrier performance management through the establishment of carrier scorecards; conduct regular business reviews to monitor service levels, on time delivery, claims performance, capacity commitments and cost competitiveness\nDrive logistics network optimization through the analysis of transportation networks, route guides, shipment consolidation opportunities, and warehouse-to-factory flows to improve efficiency and reduce total landed cost\nLead talent development and succession planning through the recruitment, development and retention of logistics talent while creating development plans that strengthen organizational capabilities and support succession planning\nOther duties, responsibilities and activities may change or be assigned at any time with or without notice.\nEducation/Experience:\nBachelor’s Degree in Logistics or related field required\nMinimum of 8 years of experience in logistics operations\nHazmat Certified preferred.\nSkills/Abilities:\nVast knowledge of legal regulations and logistics compliance.\nAbility to work independently and escalate challenges to leadership effectively.\nComputer-savvy with a working knowledge of logistics software (ERP/TMS).\nMust have extensive knowledge and experience in scheduling domestic trucking, international ocean and air freight, and inbound customs.\nMust have a working knowledge of Incoterms.\nHazmat Certification and experience preferred.\nExceptional time-management and organizational skills required.\nAbility to travel as needed (minimal).\nHave impeccable leadership skills\nTravel\nOvernight/North America: 25-50%\nWorking Conditions\nOffice Environment - Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time and occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc. Required to have close visual acuity to perform an activity such as: preparing and analyzing data and figures; transcribing; viewing a computer terminal; extensive reading.
