Remember regular guest’s favorite drinks.\nThoroughly and correctly set up the bar prior to opening; make sure bar is clean before and at the end of shift according to operational policies and standards to ensure guest comfort and satisfaction.\nCompletes necessary side-work as per schedule, this includes stocking and organizing all liquor, juices, glassware, paper, wines, cut fruit, etc.\nAnswer guest’s questions regarding menu items and beverages served, their garnish, contents, and preparation methods confidently and accurately.\nUtilize suggestive selling techniques to increase check averages.\nCheck guest order prior to serving to ensure that appearance, temperature, and portions are correct.\nAssist in maintaining beverage cost by reducing unnecessary waste.\nConduct and be aware of inventory at all times and requisition daily supplies as needed to ensure efficient operations.\nTake orders accurately and follow proper cashiering functions by completing/closing guest checks and submitting information into POS system.\nQualifications:\n1+ years of experience working in a resort bar environment.\nThis posting in no way states or implies that these are the only duties to be performed by the colleague occupying this position.
