This position requires strong beverage knowledge, attention to detail, and the ability to create a welcoming atmosphere while delivering consistent, high-quality service.\nThe ideal candidate is friendly, dependable, comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, and passionate about creating memorable guest experiences.\nKey Responsibilities\nBeverage Service & Guest Experience\nGreet guests warmly and provide friendly, attentive, and professional service.\n\nPrepare and serve cocktails, beer, wine, and non-alcoholic beverages according to recipes, presentation standards, and guest preferences.\n\nTake accurate food and beverage orders and ensure timely service.\n\nDemonstrate knowledge of cocktail ingredients, beverage preparation, menu offerings, and available selections.\n\nMake recommendations and use suggestive selling techniques to enhance the guest experience and support beverage sales.\n\nBuild positive relationships with guests by recognizing preferences and providing personalized service.\n\nRespond promptly to guest requests and address concerns professionally.\n\nVerify beverage presentation, accuracy, and quality before serving.\n\nBar Operations & Inventory\nSet up and prepare the bar before service, ensuring all equipment, ingredients, garnishes, and supplies are available.\n\nMaintain a clean, organized, and properly stocked bar throughout each shift.\n\nComplete opening, closing, and assigned side-work duties.\n\nRestock liquor, beer, wine, mixers, juices, garnishes, glassware, and other supplies as needed.\n\nMonitor inventory levels, communicate replenishment needs, and assist with inventory counts.\n\nFollow established portion controls and beverage recipes to maintain consistency and minimize waste.\n\nProperly clean and maintain bar equipment, glassware, workstations, and storage areas.\n\nFollow established food safety, sanitation, and resort operating standards.\n\nCash Handling & Responsible Beverage Service\nAccurately enter orders, process payments, and close guest checks using the point-of-sale (POS) system.\n\nFollow established cash handling, payment processing, and reconciliation procedures.\n\nVerify identification and comply with all applicable alcohol service laws and regulations.\n\nMonitor guest alcohol consumption and follow responsible beverage service procedures.\n\nMaintain required alcohol service training or certifications, including TIPS or other approved programs as applicable.\n\nCommunicate guest concerns, service issues, or operational needs to management promptly.\n\nWork collaboratively with servers, kitchen staff, and Food & Beverage leadership to ensure smooth service.\n\nQualifications\nMinimum 1 year of bartending experience preferred, ideally in a restaurant, resort, hotel, or high-volume bar environment.\n\nStrong knowledge of cocktails, beer, wine, spirits, and beverage preparation.\n\nExcellent guest service and communication skills.\n\nAbility to multitask and remain organized during busy service periods.\n\nComfortable using POS systems and handling guest payments.\n\nStrong attention to detail, cleanliness, and presentation.\n\nDependable, team-oriented, and able to work independently when needed.\n\nMust meet the legal age requirements for serving alcoholic beverages in Florida.\n\nAbility to obtain or maintain required alcohol service training and certifications.\n\nFlexible availability to work varying shifts, including mornings, afternoons, evenings, weekends, and holidays.\n\nPhysical Requirements\nAbility to stand and walk for extended periods throughout the shift.\n\nAbility to bend, reach, lift, carry, and perform repetitive tasks.\n\nAbility to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and handle heavier items with assistance as needed.\n\nAbility to work in indoor and outdoor bar environments as assigned.\n\nSchedule\nPart-Time Position\nFlexible availability is required, including mornings, afternoons, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
