This is an overnight position with a shift starting at 11pm and ending at 7am.\n\nJob Qualifications:\nPrevious 1-2 years customer related experience, preferably in a Marriott property \nProficiency in English (verbal and written), second language an asset\nComputer literate in Microsoft Window applications an asset\nFOSSE and Marsha. system knowledge a plus\nStrong interpersonal and problem-solving abilities\nHighly responsible & reliable\nAbility to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment\nAbility to work cohesively with fellow colleagues as part of a team\nAbility to focus attention on guest needs, remaining calm and courteous at all times\nAbility to lift, pull, bend, push moderate weight and stand for 8 hours or more a day.\nFlexible schedule (Overnight is a must, Weekends & Holidays)\nOther duties as needed\nKnowledge of accounting operations to include all aspects, such as, accounts, receivable, payroll, etc. \nAbility to access and accurately input information into a computer using Excel software and other various software programs.\nBasic mathematical and calculator skills to prepare mathematical calculations without error. \nOffice machines: operate calculator/10-key by touch, copier, fax, telephone. \nMust possess the ability to post and balance large amounts of charges efficiently and accurately. \nAbility to learn and perform all essential job functions accurately and safely with minimal direct supervision, within initial training period after employee begins work. \nMaintain an open line of communication between guests, team members and management\nJob Functions:\nPost and balance all hotel work for each day. \nPrepare restaurant audits to breakdown and balance restaurant figures.\nHandle all computer end of day issues and problems that might occur throughout shift. \nReconcile credit card system to daily transaction list from rooms.\nIn addition to performance of the essential functions, this position may be required to perform a combination of the following supportive functions, with the percentage of time performing each function to be solely determined by the supervisor based upon the particular requirements of the company.\nBenefits\nWe are looking to hire the most highly qualified people and provide a competitive benefits package which include:\nPaid Parental Leave\nHealth Insurance\nDental Insurance\nVision Insurance\nVacation, Sick and Holiday Pay\nCompany Basic Life Insurance\nCompany paid Long term Disability\n401k Retirement Plan\nEOE - minorities/Females/Vet/Disability/Gender Identity/Sexual Orientation\nWe are a drug free workplace.
