You will be a technical consultant to the sales force generating Project Scope of Works, block flow diagrams and equipment lists to enable generation of customer proposals. You will also be leveraged by the post sales team for project engineering and or on-going project consultation for our clients\nYou will provide a technical review of Audio-Visual Projects including but not limited to end-user technical training and support to the implementation teams. You must have a comprehensive understanding and experience of the audio-visual industry, AV system design principles, IP Networks, Implementation and Deployment methodologies for both small- and large-scale projects.\nThis role requires up to 50% travel to client sites. \nKEY RESPONSIBILITIES:\nTechnically support Project Managers and Implementation Teams, including assistance with hands on and remote commissioning where required.\nProduce and or assist with technical training for internal and external end-users.\nAmend and adapt Audio Visual system design including CAD schematics and project requirements\nKeep current with the technical aspects of the systems being installed through manufacturer training.\nCreation of system Scope Of Work and Bill of Materials for quotes to clients, this will include allocation of professional service hours.\nReview and approval of technical documents (Schematics, rack drawings, layout drawings and detailed technical info for IP systems) for handover to Project Management for deployment.\nReview and technical lead on project bids for client base.\nProvide status and feedback of the technical aspects of the projects assigned to the Project Manager, Engineering Department, and the Account Manager in the form of verbal and documented post-mortems to modify and improve internal and external processes and designs.\nESSENTIAL CRITERIA:\n5+ years Design experience working with the AV Industry\nDegree level qualified in a formal technical discipline or 8+ years professional AV industry experience in implementation and / or system support.\nKnowledge of design implementation, Installation or Service Experience of key technologies such as\nControl (Crestron, AMX, Extron)\nAudio (BIAMP, QSC, POLYCOM)\nVideo (Cisco, Polycom, QSC, Crestron, Light ware, Teams, Zoom)\nA VoIP Design and Deployment\nCTS certification or higher\nExcellent communication skills, and be confident when dealing with demanding clients, building contractors, architects, and other technical members of the project team.\nKnowledge of the following is expected for success in the role:\nAudio systems design including conferencing audio, digital sound systems, public address, event spaces.\nVideo systems, large format displays, projection, video wall image processing.\nControl systems touchscreen controls, automation, and smart building technology.\nVideo conference systems, integration techniques and deployment.\nAudio visual system infrastructure design and planning.\nFlexibility is required to accommodate working across time zones as part of a global team, including international travel upon notice if necessary.\nFull driving license that will enable you to meet any driving requirements\nDESIRABLE CRITERIA:\nCTS-D, CTS-I certifications\nFormal BA in an Engineering Field\nAutoCAD, BIM software or similar\nMicrosoft Excel, PowerPoint, Visio\nEase Software\nShure, QSC, Lightware Certifications\nEOS is committed to creating a diverse and inclusive work environment and is proud to be an equal opportunity employer.
