This position coordinates deployment activities and provides pre-commissioning and commissioning support, ensuring AV systems are delivered to agreed timelines and installed, configured, and validated to meet client performance standards. This engineer will also provide an additional layer of maintenance and break/fix support for collaboration spaces - including complex event venues and multipurpose rooms - to ensure operational continuity and rapid issue resolution.\nResponsibilities also include coordinating refresh and remediation projects, working under the guidance of the AV Builds Engineering team to track progress, manage dependencies and maintain consistency across AV environments.\nKey Responsibilities\nProject Coordination & Deployment Support\nCoordinate deployment activities for AV system refresh and remediation projects, tracking milestones and actions through to completion.\nCoordinate schedules, resources and vendors under the direction of the AV Builds Engineering team, communicating progress, risks and dependencies to stakeholders.\nMaintain project documentation, including BOMs, QC Checklists, action trackers and sign-off forms as required.\nEnsure consistency with client standards and best practices.\n Pre-Commissioning and Commissioning Field Engineering Services\nConduct system-level validation of AV components, including DSP programming, control system configuration, and network integration.\nExecute commissioning procedures to verify functionality, performance, and interoperability across AV platforms.\nTroubleshoot and resolve technical issues during the commissioning phases.\nDocument commissioning results, configuration settings, and punch list items as appropriate.\nVerify AV systems meet design intent and client expectations prior to handoff.\nInventory & Logistics Management\nMaintain accurate records of AV equipment, including serial numbers, locations, and operational status.\nTrack any reused equipment, ensuring it is properly documented and attributed to the correct project.\nCoordinate inbound and outbound shipments, including RMAs and returns, ensuring accuracy and timely execution.\nFacilitate site access and logistics for vendors and internal teams.\nProcess Improvement & Best Practices\nSupport continuous evaluation and improvement of commissioning, workflows, deployment processes, tools, and documentation standards.\nEnsure consistency and operational efficiency by leveraging internal tools, templates, and best practices (e.g., inventory trackers, commissioning checklists).\nMaintenance and Break/Fix Support\nWork closely with the Operations team responsible for providing first and second level support.\nManage tickets and escalations for incoming or ongoing incidents, performing diagnostics and remote or on-site troubleshooting.\nEscalate unresolved issues in accordance with client procedures.\nAssist with any root cause analysis procedures.\nParticipate in problem management activities.\nSupport approved changes and upgrades to deployed systems, as required.\nQualifications\n5-8 years of experience with AV deployment, field engineering, commissioning, or systems integration and maintenance, including project coordination responsibilities.\nStrong technical troubleshooting skills and familiarity with AV control systems, DSPs, and signal routing.\nStrong project coordination, communication and organisational abilities, including scheduling, stakeholder updates and tracking actions to completion.\n\nPreferred Qualifications\nAVIXA CTS Certification.\nQ-Sys Certification\n#INDEMEA #LI-CT2
