We empower our teams with the tools, support, and opportunities they need to make a meaningful impact while driving sustainable business growth.\nAs we continue to expand our data and analytics capabilities, we are looking for talented individuals who are passionate about solving complex business challenges and enabling data-driven decision-making across the organisation.\nAbout the Role\nAs a Business Intelligence Team Lead, you will oversee a team of BI Developers and Senior Developers, ensuring high-quality delivery across dashboards, data modelling, analytics, and tooling initiatives.\nYou will manage team workload, drive operational excellence, partner with stakeholders, and support the long-term development of BI capabilities within EOS in partnership with the Data & Governance Lead.\nThis role requires strong leadership, excellent communication skills, technical expertise, and the ability to align teams around clear priorities.\nWhat You'll Do\nTeam Leadership & Delivery\nLead a BI team, overseeing daily delivery, planning, and prioritisation.\nEnsure high-quality outputs across dashboards, data modelling, insights, and tooling activities.\nReview analytical output, modelling accuracy, and dashboard quality prior to stakeholder delivery.\nSupervise the allocation of BAU work, project initiatives, and support tickets across the team.\nManage performance, coaching, and career development activities for team members.\nStakeholder Management\nAct as the primary escalation point, ensuring issues are resolved and communicated effectively.\nBuild strong relationships with product, commercial, and operational stakeholders to support roadmap delivery.\nTranslate business needs into structured BI workstreams, ensuring clear requirements and expectations are established.\nOperational Excellence & Governance\nEnsure alignment with BI standards, data governance requirements, documentation expectations, and design best practices.\nSupport incident management by owning escalations, leading root-cause investigations, and coordinating cross-functional resolutions.\nOversee preparation of BI inputs for internal and senior leadership business reviews.\nTechnical Support & Mentoring\nProvide technical guidance on data modelling, dashboard design, performance optimisation, and BI tooling.\nMentor BI Developers and Senior Developers, supporting the development of their technical capabilities and business understanding.\nFoster a culture of continuous improvement, innovation, and collaboration across the team.\nStrategic Contribution\nPartner with the BI Team Manager to shape long-term BI strategy, capability development, and tooling improvements.\nContribute to resource planning, process optimisation, and the identification of automation and efficiency opportunities.\nPlay a key role in prioritisation discussions, ensuring team capacity aligns with organisational priorities.\nExperience\n6-8 years of experience in business intelligence, analytics, or data-focused roles.\nExperience leading delivery workstreams, mentoring analysts or developers, or supervising small teams.\nDemonstrated success delivering high-impact BI or analytics solutions within a fast-paced environment.\nExperience collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders across Product, Engineering, and Operations.\nTechnical Skills\nStrong proficiency in SQL, Tableau, Excel, and relational database concepts.\nExperience with data modelling, dashboard design, and BI optimisation best practices.\nFamiliarity with CRM datasets, such as Salesforce, and cloud data platforms, such as Snowflake.\nUnderstanding of ETL concepts, data structures, and dependencies across the BI ecosystem.\nSoft Skills\nExcellent leadership and coaching capabilities, with a focus on supporting team growth and development.\nStrong communication skills with the ability to simplify complex concepts for non-technical audiences.\nConfident decision-maker who can prioritise effectively and manage multiple concurrent workstreams.\nStrong stakeholder management skills, with an influential and partnership-focused approach.\nHighly organised, structured, and proactive in problem-solving.\nBelonging at EOS\nAt EOS, we are committed to building an inclusive workplace where everyone feels respected, valued, and empowered to contribute.
