The successful candidate will work closely with technical and business stakeholders to customise Jira and associated Atlassian products, build integrations, automate workflows and enhance the overall user experience.\nThis role requires strong technical expertise, problem-solving skills and a passion for delivering scalable and efficient solutions that drive business value.\nKey Responsibilities\nDesign, develop and maintain custom Jira solutions, workflows, screens, fields and permissions.\nConfigure and administer Jira Software, Jira Service Management and other Atlassian tools as required.\nDevelop and maintain integrations between Jira and third-party applications using REST APIs and other integration technologies.\nCreate automation rules and scripts to improve operational efficiency and user productivity.\nCollaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.\nTroubleshoot, diagnose and resolve Jira platform issues and performance bottlenecks.\nDevelop custom plugins, extensions or applications where standard Jira functionality does not meet business needs.\nSupport platform upgrades, migrations and continuous improvement initiatives.\nMaintain technical documentation, system configurations and development standards.\nEnsure solutions align with security, compliance and governance requirements.\nProvide guidance and best practices to users and project teams on Jira capabilities and functionality.\nParticipate in code reviews, testing and quality assurance activities.\nRequired Qualifications\nBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.\nExperience developing and administering Jira within enterprise environments.\nStrong knowledge of Jira Software, Jira Service Management and Atlassian ecosystem tools.\nExperience working with Jira APIs, automation frameworks and scripting tools.\nProficiency in one or more programming languages such as Java, Groovy, JavaScript or Python.\nExperience with REST APIs, web services and systems integration.\nUnderstanding of Agile methodologies, Scrum and DevOps practices.\nStrong analytical, troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.\nExcellent communication and stakeholder management capabilities.\nPreferred Qualifications\nAtlassian certifications (e.g. ACP certifications).\nExperience developing Jira plugins using Atlassian SDK.\nExperience with Confluence administration and integration.\nFamiliarity with cloud and enterprise infrastructure environments.\nKnowledge of CI/CD tools and integration platforms.\nExperience supporting large-scale global user communities.\nWhat Success Looks Like\nJira solutions are reliable, scalable and aligned to business requirements.\nWorkflows and automations improve operational efficiency and user experience.\nIntegrations perform consistently and securely across platforms.\nStakeholders receive responsive support and trusted technical guidance.\nPlatform governance, security and documentation standards are maintained.\nSkills and Competencies\nCustomer-focused mindset\nStrong collaboration and teamwork\nContinuous improvement approach\nEffective prioritisation and organisation\nTechnical innovation and creativity\nAttention to detail\nOwnership and accountability\nAdaptability in a dynamic environment\nWhy Join EOS?\nOpportunity to work on innovative technology solutions at global scale.\nCollaborative and inclusive culture that values diverse perspectives.\nProfessional development and career growth opportunities.\nExposure to cutting-edge technologies and enterprise platforms.\nFlexible and supportive working environment.\nBelonging at EOS\nEOS is committed to creating a diverse, equitable and inclusive workplace where everyone feels respected, valued and empowered to succeed.
