This role combines strategic architecture ownership with hands-on development responsibilities, ensuring scalable, secure, and high-performing solutions that support EOS' sales, finance, operations, and support functions.\nYou will be responsible for defining the Salesforce roadmap, establishing technical standards and best practices, and delivering innovative solutions that enable business growth. Working closely with stakeholders across the organisation, you will provide architectural leadership while remaining actively involved in solution development and implementation.\nWhat You Will Do\nOwn the overall Salesforce architecture, platform strategy, and technical roadmap.\nDesign scalable Salesforce solutions across Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, integrations, automation, and custom applications.\nLead all technical aspects of Salesforce, including platform configuration, custom development, integrations, security, governance, and data architecture.\nAct as the primary technical authority for Salesforce-related projects and initiatives.\nDesign and oversee integrations with internal systems, third-party platforms, middleware solutions, and AppExchange products.\nProvide hands-on development using Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Visualforce, Java, and related technologies where required.\nEstablish and maintain best practices for architecture, development, testing, deployment, release management, and platform security.\nDrive optimisation of business processes through Salesforce capabilities and automation.\nLead data migration initiatives, data quality improvements, and master data management strategies.\nCollaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into scalable technical solutions.\nReview solution designs and code to ensure adherence to architectural standards and platform best practices.\nMentor and coach Salesforce Developers and Administrators, fostering technical excellence across the team.\nEvaluate emerging Salesforce technologies and recommend opportunities for innovation and continuous improvement.\nSupport a rapidly growing organisation by ensuring the Salesforce platform remains scalable, resilient, and aligned with business objectives.\nWhat You Need To Succeed\nEssential\nExtensive experience designing and delivering enterprise Salesforce solutions.\nSalesforce Architect certification(s) or a strong pathway towards Architect-level accreditation.\nDeep understanding of Salesforce architecture, platform capabilities, APIs, governor limits, and best practices.\nStrong hands-on development experience with Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Visualforce, and Salesforce automation tools.\nExperience designing complex system integrations using REST, SOAP, platform events, middleware, and other enterprise integration technologies.\nExpertise in Salesforce data architecture, data modelling, governance, migration, and quality management.\nExperience delivering scalable solutions across multiple Salesforce clouds and business functions.\nStrong understanding of security architecture, role hierarchies, profiles, permission sets, and compliance considerations.\nExperience leading technical design sessions and engaging with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.\nPractical experience with DevOps processes, CI/CD pipelines, version control, testing strategies, and deployment frameworks.\nStrong knowledge of relational databases and enterprise application architecture.\nDemonstrated success delivering complex Salesforce transformation or integration projects.\nDesirable\nSalesforce Application Architect, System Architect, or Certified Technical Architect (CTA) credentials.\nExperience working with MuleSoft or other enterprise integration platforms.\nExperience with enterprise-scale Salesforce organisations supporting global operations.\nDevelopment experience in Java or other object-oriented programming
