Working under the guidance of experienced engineers and project managers, you will play a key role in helping ensure successful onsite installations, upgrades, and troubleshooting.\nThis is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to build a career in network infrastructure and field support while gaining hands-on experience in diverse environments.\n**Requires up to 85% Travel**\nKEY RESPONSIBILITIES: \nAssist with the installation, racking, and cabling of network hardware (routers, switches, access points, etc.).\nRun and terminate copper and fiber optic cabling under supervision.\nConduct basic troubleshooting of physical connectivity issues.\nFollow detailed instructions, network diagrams, and equipment layouts to perform installations accurately.\nSupport Wi-Fi survey teams with setup and equipment handling.\nPerform equipment labeling, documentation, and site clean-up post-deployment.\nCollaborate with project teams and escalate issues as needed.\nAssist with site readiness surveys (e.g., rack space, power, cabling paths).\nAdhere to quality standards, safety protocols, and project deadlines.\nESSENTIAL CRITERIA: \n1-2 years of experience in IT, networking, field service, or a related technical role (internships and school programs considered).\nBasic understanding of networking hardware and cabling types (Cat5e/6, fiber).\nAbility to follow instructions and work well in a team setting.\nStrong attention to detail, time management, and willingness to learn.\nComfortable using hand tools and working with hardware in various environments.\nAbility to lift up to 50 lbs and work in physically active roles.\nWillingness and ability to travel both domestically and internationally.\nFlexible with working hours including evenings and weekends when required.\nUp to 85% travel\nDESIRABLE CRITERIA: \nRelevant certifications (CompTIA Network+, CCT, or equivalent) or working toward certification.\nFamiliarity with networking concepts (IP addressing, ports, patching).\nExperience working in structured cabling, telecom, or data center environments.\nExposure to ticketing or project tracking systems (ServiceNow, Jira, etc.).\nThe EOS pay range for this job is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary.
