Subcontract Engineer is responsible for managing and coordinating subcontractors and subcontract works across Saipem projects ensuring that all contracted work is delivered safely on time and compliant with technical and quality standards with a focus on EPCI Offshore (marine and fleets) execution.\nKey Responsibilities\nAct as the main interface between internal departments project management clients and subcontractors.\n\nReview evaluate and assess subcontractor proposals technical documentation and work plans to ensure they meet project requirements.\n\nConduct cost analysis scenario evaluations and benchmarking of services and materials to be procured.\n\nMaintain accurate records of contracts change orders progress reports and all subcontract documentation.\n\nLead negotiations with subcontractors to secure optimal terms and delivery timelines.\n\nPlan and determine scheduling and coordination of deliveries and subcontractor activities\n\nQualifications & Experience\nBachelors degree in Engineering commonly Marine or Mechanical (or related) discipline.\n\nMinimum 10 years of procurement/subcontract experience particularly within offshore EPCI (Engineering Procurement Construction & Installation) project environments.\n\nProven background in cost evaluation contract negotiation and vendor management.\n\nSkills & Competencies\nExcellent communication and negotiation skills.\n\nStrong organizational skills and ability to coordinate with multiple stakeholders.\n\nCapability to manage complex subcontractor schedules and technical requirements.\n\nExperience with offshore operations/contracts is highly beneficial.\n\nRequired
