They are responsible for supplying printed rolls of film (PE, BOPP, PET and other polymer based substrates) to the lamination department as well as machine upkeep, cleanliness and maintenance during break/fix with Lead Operator or HP Technical Support team’s assistance.\nSo who are we, put simply, ePac provides digitally printed flexible packaging. sustainable solutions\nESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES \nRegularly calibrates press via colour calibration to ensure excellent print quality\nEfficiently sets up machine to maximise uptime\nConfirms job specifications based on job ticket prior to printing\nPerforms daily and weekly maintenance on press\nNotifies Lead Press Operator when equipment needs repair\nOpens service calls with HP Technical Team as necessary\nLoads rolls of material onto press\nMonitors print quality while machine is in production\nInputs production, consumption, and waste data into Microsoft NAV (ERP)\nKeeps pressroom clean and organized\nNON-ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES \nCould be asked to support other parts of the operations including pouch assistant, slitting, and lamination\nCommunicates with Prepress and Converting department when necessary\nJOB KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES\nWorking knowledge of HP Indigo presses (HP 20000 experience a plus)\nSimple mathematical ability for reports required\nComputer literacy\nMathematical knowledge\nAbility to read a ruler\nMechanical skills\nAttention to detail\nEXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION\n1-3 years in production field related to digital printing preferred\nHP Operator 1 training desired\nResponsibility in the area of food safety
