Senior Rust Software Engineer

We're looking for a Senior Rust Software Engineer to help unify UL Link, T-Bricks, and CQG into a single platform, developing the distributed cache/memory model responsible for ultra-low-latency distribution of market and reference data. This position plays a key part in the larger canonical data model initiative, providing normalized, low-latency versions of transaction, market, and reference data.

Responsibilities

• Design and build a distributed caching layer for high-throughput, low-latency market data distribution
• Leverage QuestDB to support fast data access across the platform
• Collaborate with technical leads on architecture and integration decisions
• Support consolidation of feed handlers and connectivity layers across UL Link, T-Bricks, and CQG
• Define data models and schemas to support normalized market and reference data
• Optimize memory management and concurrency patterns for ultra-low latency workloads
• Participate in code reviews and mentor team members on distributed systems best practices

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience with Rust, including work with distributed systems
• Experience building low-latency, high-throughput systems
• Knowledge of time-series databases such as QuestDB, KDB, or InfluxDB
• Understanding of capital markets and market data, including equities, derivatives, futures, and options
• Proficiency in system design for scalable, fault-tolerant architectures
• Familiarity with Linux performance tuning and profiling tools
• English proficiency at a B2+ level

Nice to have

• Experience with streaming/messaging systems such as Kafka
• Familiarity with the FIX protocol
• Knowledge of Golang
