The role includes designing deployment standards for data pipelines, improving reliability and observability, maintaining IaC modules, supporting Kubernetes and cloud workloads, mentoring engineers deployment standards for data pipelines\n\nImprovement of reliability and observability across the data platform\n\nMaintenance of IaC modules and reusable infrastructure components\n\nSupport for Kubernetes and cloud workloads in production\n\nMentorship of L1-L2 engineers and driving technical improvements\n\nCollaboration with Data Engineering and Security teams\n\nAdvanced CI/CD management including templates, release gates and promotion flows\n\nSLO/SLA thinking, capacity planning and cost optimization\n\nOwnership of monitoring, alerting and incident management\n\nRequirements\n\n5+ years in DevOps, Platform Engineering, SRE or Cloud Engineering\n\nStrong production experience with cloud infrastructure\n\nExpertise in Kubernetes or managed container platform in production\n\nAdvanced proficiency in Terraform/IaC including modules, environments and state, policies and reviews\n\nAdvanced CI/CD skills including templates, release gates and security checks\n\nStrong competency in monitoring, alerting and incident management\n\nSkills in Python automation and API integrations\n\nKnowledge of Linux, networking and IAM, secrets, certificates and DNS/VPC basics\n\nUnderstanding of SQL and operational data pipelines\n\nFamiliarity with at least one data-platform technology such as Airflow, Spark or Kafka, Databricks, Snowflake or BigQuery,
