Senior Java Developer

We are looking for a Senior Java Developer to join the team supporting chapters and pods in bringing the client's platform to the cloud. This role contributes to solving complex enterprise-wide problems, with cloud data storage as a key enabler of our transformation journey.

Please note that working from the customer's office is required 3 days per week.

Responsibilities

• Support a large global system that underpins the client's operations worldwide
• Contribute to a project with direct and critical impact on business stability
• Help transform the system into microservices hosted in the cloud
• Take part in building new infrastructure within the domain
• Collaborate with chapters and pods to advance the platform's cloud journey
• Develop enterprise solutions using Java 17-21, Spring and Spring Boot
• Participate in long-term planning for the platform's cloud transformation
• Act as a senior, self-sufficient engineer within the team

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience with Java, including hands-on expertise in microservices architecture
• Proficiency in Java 17-21, Spring and Spring Boot
• Exposure to Cloud platforms
• Capability to work as a senior, self-sufficient engineer
• Flexibility to arrange office days and working hours within the team
• English proficiency at B2 level or higher

Nice to have

• Familiarity with MS Azure
• Familiarity with GH Copilot or similar AI-assisted development tools
