Ideal candidates will demonstrate the ability to identify inventory discrepancies, logistical inefficiencies, and process improvement opportunities while supporting a safety-first, continuous-improvement culture consistent with modern manufacturing and distribution operations.\nCandidates must be able to obtain Forklift Operator Certification within 90 days of employment and work effectively with cross-functional teams supporting power conversion and manufacturing operations.\nRequirements\nKey Responsibilities\nOperate forklifts and material handling equipment safely and efficiently to transport materials\nLead daily shipping and receiving operations, including sorting, logging, packing, labeling, and shipment coordination\nAudit inbound and outbound shipments to verify accuracy against orders and documentation\nEnsure all shipments include proper equipment, manuals, and accessories\nPrepare and maintain shipping, receiving, and inventory documentation in an orderly and compliant manner\nProcess all receiving transactions; inspect inbound freight for damage and coordinate resolution with Purchasing and Inventory teams\nAssist with inventory control activities, including cycle counts and discrepancy investigations\nSupport trace requests for missing or delayed shipments\nProvide on-the-floor guidance and training for new and existing warehouse associates\nServe as a point of escalation for daily operational issues in the absence of the Warehouse Manager\nMaintain safety, housekeeping, and 5S standards in warehouse and shipping areas\nPerform required administrative tasks, reports, and system updates (WMS/ERP exposure preferred)\nPerform other related duties as assigned by management\nRequired Qualifications\n5+ years of warehouse experience, including forklift operation in a fast-paced environment\nHigh School Diploma or equivalent\nDemonstrated knowledge of shipping practices, logistics workflows, and carrier coordination\nPrior experience training or leading warehouse personnel strongly preferred\nAbility to work independently, manage priorities, and support daily production schedules\nStrong organizational, problem-solving, and attention-to-detail skills\nBasic computer proficiency (ERP/WMS, shipping systems, reporting tools)\nEffective verbal and written communication skills\nFlexibility and adaptability in a changing manufacturing environment\nStrong interpersonal skills and ability to work with cross-functional teams\nAbility to follow written and verbal instructions\nMust be at least 18 years of age\nPhysical Demands & Work Environment\nContinual use of hand and finger dexterity\nFrequent standing, walking, lifting, bending, and reaching\nRegular lifting/pushing/carrying of items up to 60 pounds\nWork performed near moving mechanical equipment\nOccasional exposure to wet or humid conditions\nOccasional exposure to elevated noise levels\nAbility to work in warehouse and dock environments with varying temperatures\nBenefits\n401(k) with company matching\nMedical, dental, and vision insurance\nDisability and life insurance\nFlexible Spending Account (FSA)\nEmployee Assistance Program (EAP)\nPaid Time Off (PTO)\nTuition reimbursement\nEmployee Incentive Program (EIP)\nEPC Power is an equal opportunity employer.
