This role oversees all phases of project delivery, including planning, budgeting, forecasting, stakeholder approvals, resource coordination, risk management, and performance reporting, ensuring projects are completed safely, on schedule, and within budget. Working closely with internal teams, contractors, field crews, and external stakeholders, the Project Manager, Distributionproactively resolves issues and drives successful project outcomes, with project timelines typically ranging from three to twelve months. Reporting to the Manager, Distribution Projects Management, this position plays a key role in delivering strategic distribution infrastructure initiatives that support EDTI's operational and customer service objectives.\nWe welcome applications frominternal and external candidates.EPCOR employees are encouraged to apply usingtheir '@epcor.com'email address to ensure proper consideration of internal seniority.\nWhatyou’dbe responsible for\nContribute to business planning and align project delivery with Distribution and organizational strategies. \nDevelop and execute project plans and deliverables that support annual business objectives. \nPrepare project charters, including scope, budget, schedule, assumptions, constraints, and resource requirements. \nMonitor and report project performance, including budget, schedule, scope, and key risks. \nSecure project funding and approvals in accordance with capital governance requirements. \nEnsure timely delivery of accurate, complete, and constructible work packages for execution. \nManage regulatory, permitting, and stakeholder requirements with municipal, provincial, and industry agencies. \nCoordinate and optimize internal and external resources to support project priorities and timelines. \nCommunicate project schedules, scopes, expectations, and performance requirements to stakeholders. \nProcure, evaluate, and manage contractors and consultants while ensuring compliance with safety, legal, and regulatory standards. \nLead project kick-off, design, and construction meetings for complex and high-profile projects. \nMonitor field execution through site visits, risk management, issue resolution, and change control processes. \nConduct site inspections to identify and address safety and environmental concerns and support investigations as required. \nDevelop and maintain portfolio plans, project performance metrics, and resource strategies to improve efficiency, balance workloads, and meet delivery commitments.\nWhat’srequired to be successful\nKnowledge/Training/Education\nSuccessful completion of a bachelor’s degree in Engineering. A Professional Licensee (P.L. Eng.) in Civil or Electrical Engineering with extensive experience in trades, construction, or project management may be considered.Must be eligible for registration with APEGA as a Professional Engineer (P. Eng.) or Professional Licensee (P.L.
