This role offers an exciting opportunity for skilled professionals to contribute to the vital task of water treatment in a dynamic and 24/7/365, in a rotating shift environment, staffed facility.\nWhat you’ll be responsible for\nOperate high level water treatment equipment such as Reverse Osmosis, Ultrafiltration Skids and Cold Lime Softening systems, groundwater wells, remote stations and reservoirs\nPerform extensive laboratory analysis\nMaintain, calibrate, and verify continuous on-line water quality analyzers\nPerform operations, maintenance, and control work on water treatment plant, chlorination equipment, pump control valves, various pressure control valves\nInstall and make repairs on piping, valves, and other components of water treatment plant\nPerform facility, well, and remote site rounds\nAnalyze data and communicate results effectively\nParticipate in process control strategies and implementation\nPerform construction and fabrication at facility\nMaintain landscaping as needed\nOperate equipment such as cranes, forklifts, trenchers, backhoes, bucket-lifts and dump trucks as required\nWhat’s required to be successful\nHigh school diploma or equivalent required\n2+ years of related experience with field maintenance, water or wastewater plant maintenance, or other mechanical maintenance experience\nExperience with mechanical maintenance and repair of pumps, compressors, engines and related equipment at a water or wastewater facility\nTCEQ Class A, B, C or D water license required\nKnowledge of water systems and associated maintenance necessities\nProficiency with Microsoft Office suite including Word, Excel, and Outlook\nWillingness and ability to increase knowledge in maintenance area operations including equipment operation and use\nValid driver’s license and ability to maintain a clean driving record\nWhy EPCOR?\nWe offer more than just a job - we offer a career with purpose.
