This role is involved in setting up, performing, and collecting data from engineering tests, in order to document results that aid in developmental design decisions. Along with these responsibilities, the role is responsible for the assembly of engineering test fixtures to promote efficiency and safety.\nRequirements\nProvide technical support to the engineering team during the design and manufacturing process.\nProvide fabrication/assembly support for engineering test fixtures, setups, prototype builds.\nSupport in the design of test fixtures and assembly.\nSet up & perform tests, collect data, and document performance, reports results out to engineering.\nAssist in implementing improvements in production, efficiency, and quality.\nProvide documentation and process support.\nConduct process evaluations and identify process improvement opportunities, communicating those opportunities to the appropriate teams.\nTroubleshoot manufacturing and technical problems to identify root causes\nCalibrate equipment.\nPerform work in a safe manner and in accordance with established operating procedures and practices.\nOther duties and responsibilities within the scope of role, needed or assigned.\nRequirements\nAssociate degree in Engineering or related discipline or related technical certification is highly preferred\nInternship or other hands-on manufacturing experience preferred\nOne year experience as an Engineering Technician in a manufacturing environment preferred\nProficiency in standard power tools: chop saw, jig saw, drill press, dremel, sander, etc.\nExperience create wiring harnesses, high voltage/low voltage cable - crimping/cutting cable tools\nExperience in using Microsoft apps such as excel, word, PowerPoint\nExperience or ability to use electrical measuring equipment\nBenefits\n401(k) Matching\nHealth Insurance\nDental Insurance\nVision Insurance\nDisability Insurance\nEmployee Assistance Program\nFlexible Spending Account\nLife Insurance\nPaid Time Off\nTuition Reimbursement\nEPC Power is an equal opportunity employer.
