The purpose of this baseline survey is to generate national, urban-rural, and regional estimates of Blood lead level (BLL) among children 6 to 59 months of age and Women of reproductive age (WRA) residing in households with an eligible child, which can then be used to scale up the efforts to include other target populations. The findings will also provide evidence to guide future surveillance, policy development, and public health interventions. Therefore, EPHI calls for experienced and qualified professionals to apply for regional coordinator position.\nMajor duties and responsibilities\nWork with the research team in planning and coordinating day-to-day activities of the BLL survey\nCoordinate with regional health bureaus, woreda health offices and community leaders to facilitate smooth data collection\nSecure administrative clearances at all levels (regional, woreda and local levels) before the data collection activity commences\nOrganize and oversee training for field team in collaboration with the central survey team\nSupervise and support the field team\nMonitor fieldwork progress, troubleshoot operational challenges and provide timely solutions\nEnsure that field staffs adhere to survey protocols, ethical standards, and safety guidelines.\nProvide technical support on the use of handheld device\nWork closely with the central survey team to ensure data quality\nWork with central survey team in managing logistics for field teams, including transportation, accommodation, supplies and equipment.\nEnsure the data collection deadlines are met\nProvide daily updates and reports to the central coordination team\nContribute to the final fieldwork achievements, challenges and recommendations report preparation.\nAttend technical meetings as necessary \nRequirements\nAbout You\nJob Requirements\nMPH/MSc. and above in Public health, Epidemiology, Nursing, Environmental health and other health related fields \nProven experience in a national survey coordination \nProven experience in electronic data collection using handheld device\nMust be in good health as the field work may demand extensive travel on rough roads\nMust be willing to work in any assigned parts of the country.\nKnowledge of the Ethiopian healthcare system\nRequirement Skill\nGood interpersonal communication\nTeam spirit\nMicrosoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)\nDuty station/location:\nThe selected candidate will be assigned to any regions and re-assigned to other regions as necessary.\nLanguage: \nFluency in one or more local language is an advantage.\nDuty station/location:\nThe selected candidate will be assigned to the study location in one or more regions.\nLanguage: \nApplicants who speak the local language of their assigned region are highly preferred\nHow to apply\nNote Interested applicants can register in Online through only https://ats.ethiojobs.net send their CVs and relevant documents at the address given below within 07 days from the first appearance of the announcement\nEthiopian Public Health Institute\nRemarks: Please attach copies of transcripts, academic degree, work experience letters together with the application.
