From character and level design to competitive gameplay and system design, help shape the future of interactive entertainment at Epic.\nGAME DESIGN INTERN\n What You'll Do\nPsyonix (a subsidiary of Epic) is looking for an intern to join the Rocket League team and work alongside some of the most passionate developers in the industry.\nOur Interns are given challenging projects throughout the work term and are provided with a meaningful experience with high expectations for performance. You will gain invaluable experiences working alongside Artists, Engineers, Designers, Producers, and Product Managers to help push forward the future of sport.\nIn this role, you will\nParticipate in the ideation and implementation of challenges\nAssist in the development, balance, and delivery of the Rocket Pass\nMaintain Rocket League’s competitive integrity through the tuning and balance of new vehicles\nWork in UEFN to implement new modes while working alongside technical designers and engineers\nAttend playtests, provide feedback, and help identify practical solutions to problems\nWhat we're looking for\nFinished student projects or indie games with experience through the entire development cycle\nPassion for games with a specific focus on competitive, skill based games\nStrong interest in esports with an understanding of what makes them successful\nExceptional communication skills and the ability to take feedback and direction on assigned tasks\nContributed code towards a completed project\nUnreal Engine and UEFN experience is required\nThis internship has a flexible start date in 2027.
