You will assist the UI Technical Designers and UI Engineers to build out the designs into rapid prototypes and shippable UI to players. In this role, you will have the ability to take wireframes and bring them to life while improving the UX with visuals. You will also implement final art in Unreal Editor using UMG, animations, materials, etc.\nIn this role, you will\nWork collaboratively with UX Design, Tech UI Design, and Engineering to create AAA-quality UI experiences\nActively participate in the creation and implementation of design systems, game menus, HUD elements, Iconography, UI materials and shaders, UI animation, and motion design\nCreate new material effects, implement basic logic in blueprints, and/or create 2D effects\nContribute to shipping high-quality features on time\nCollaborate with the greater UXUI Department to ensure consistency and quality are maintained across the project\nExecute at a high-quality bar, work autonomously, and tackle complex features and systems\nWork in Photoshop, Illustrator, and/or Figma to create concept UI art\nWhat we're looking for\nYou have 2+ years of experience working collaboratively to create UI from concept to completion\nExcellent visual design skills with a strong portfolio\nYou are skilled with Figma, Adobe Suite, or other comparable software\nA strong portfolio of work showcasing your skills and your process\nExperience with UI Art implementation, in Unreal Engine (UMG) or equivalent game engine\nExperience with building UI materials & shaders for game engines, or equivalent 3d packages and FX tools; motion design & UI animation, preferably for games or interaction design\nYou have the ability to see features through to completion and rapidly modify work as information changes\nYou have a passion for making and playing games and have a strong sense of player empathy\nYou are a proactive individual who naturally leans into owning outcomes and is able to deal with ambiguity well and adapt to changes of plan quickly\nEPIC JOB + EPIC BENEFITS = EPIC LIFE\nWe pay 100% for benefits for both employees (EEs) and dependents (deps).
