We offer EXCELLENT benefits including Aetna Health benefits on the 1st of the month after hire, along with other key benefits!!\nSupervise, assign and direct maintenance technicians, and serve as back-up to the Director of Maintenance\nOversee/assist payroll, timekeeping and attendance for maintenance staff, and assist with scheduling\nManage work orders and preventive maintenance for HVAC, plumbing, electrical, boilers, generators and fire/sprinkler systems\nCoordinate vendors and contractors, and inspect their work to make sure it's done correctly\nConduct facility rounds and inspections, and support NYS DOH, Life Safety Code and OSHA compliance\nWork a regular weekend rotation and on-call schedule, and respond to building emergencies.\nRequirements\n High School Diploma or equivalent, required\nGraduate of a technical/trade school or Associate’s degree, preferred\nOSHA Certification, or related training/certification a plus\n 3+ years of experience in building maintenance, preferably in a skilled nursing facility/long-term care setting. \nHealthcare industry experience a plus. 1+ year of experience in a lead or supervisory maintenance role, preferred.\nWorking knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, mechanical, boilers, compressors, generators, fire/sprinkler systems, and allied machinery.\nAbility to supervise, assign work, set priorities, and hold staff and outside vendors accountable for timely and correct completion of work.\nMust be able to read, speak and write English.
