This role is integral to ensuring the reliability, scalability, and efficiency of our software delivery platforms and infrastructure. You’ll work closely with a passionate team of technologists, leveraging modern tools and platforms to support, optimise, and continuously improve how we build, deploy, and operate our systems.\nYou will focus on automating infrastructure, optimising CI/CD pipelines, and ensuring the reliability and availability of our systems. Working closely with Development and QA teams, you will enable and support automation initiatives while ensuring seamless integration across development, testing, and production environments. Your technical expertise, problem-solving ability, and proactive approach will be essential to success in this role.\nThe position also involves participation in a 24×7 on-call roster, supporting business-critical systems and ensuring service continuity outside standard working hours.\nKey Responsibilities:\nDesign, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines to support continuous integration and delivery processes\nManage and optimize containerized environments using Docker and Kubernetes (on premises)\nAdminister and maintain database systems including MariaDB, MySQL, Oracle, and PostgreSQL\nConfigure and manage load balancers, SSL certificates, and secure system communications\nMonitor system performance, availability, and reliability using tools such as Grafana and Prometheus\nDevelop automation scripts and tooling using Python and/or Bash\nCollaborate closely with Software Developers & QA Engineers to support test automation within CI/CD pipelines\nTroubleshoot infrastructure, deployment, and performance issues across environments\nContinuously improve system scalability, resilience, and operational efficiency\nCore Competencies and Experience:\nEducational Background: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or a related field\nProfessional Experience: Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a DevOps or similar role\n Technical Skills:\nStrong experience with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes)\nHands-on experience with CI/CD tools, preferably GitLab CI/CD\nSolid understanding of database technologies (MariaDB/MySQL, Oracle, PostgreSQL)\nExperience with load balancing and SSL configuration\nFamiliarity with monitoring and observability tools such as Grafana and Prometheus\nProficiency in scripting languages such as Python and Bash\nProblem-Solving Abilities: Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills, with the ability to resolve complex infrastructure and deployment issues\nProject Management: Strong organizational, time management, and prioritization skills\n Communication: Ability to clearly communicate technical concepts and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including QA and
