Join Epicenter.\n\nAbout the Job\n\nWe are seeking a skilled System Administrator to manage and maintain the organisation's IT infrastructure, ensuring high availability, security, and performance. The role involves administering Windows servers, Active Directory, Microsoft 365, virtualisation, backup solutions, and network services. The ideal candidate should possess strong troubleshooting skills and a proactive approach to system monitoring and issue resolution. They will also collaborate with internal teams and vendors to support business-critical IT operations and infrastructure.\n\nLocation/Hours\n\nBhayander/ Rotational shifts (24*7)\n\nJob Responsibilities / Expectations\n\n Server Administration: Install, configure, administer, and maintain Windows Server (2012/2016/2019/2022) environments. Ensure high availability, optimal performance, and reliability across physical and virtual infrastructure.\n\nVirtualisation: Manage and optimise VMware vSphere and/or Microsoft Hyper-V environments, including ESXi hosts, vCenter, virtual machines, storage, and networking.\n\n Identity & Access Management: Administer Active Directory, Group Policy Objects (GPOs), DNS, DHCP, and Azure AD Connect. Manage user provisioning, permissions, authentication, and hybrid identity services.\n\nMessaging & Microsoft 365.\n\nBackup & Disaster Recovery.\n\nPatch Management.\n\nMonitoring & Performance: Monitor infrastructure health using tools such as OpManager. Proactively identify, troubleshoot, and resolve performance, capacity, and availability issues.\n\nTroubleshooting & Support: Diagnose and resolve server, operating system, virtualization, storage, network, and application issues. Provide Level 2/Level 3 technical support and root cause analysis for critical incidents.\n\nVendor Coordination: Work with hardware, software, and service vendors for issue resolution, maintenance, warranty support, and infrastructure upgrades.\n\nMinimum Qualifications\n\nBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.\n\n4-7 years of experience in Windows Server administration.\n\nHands-on experience with Active Directory, Microsoft 365/Exchange, VMware/Hyper-V, and backup solutions.\n\nGood understanding of networking, Windows patch management, and IT security best practices.\n\nStrong troubleshooting, communication, and documentation skills.\n\nDesired Qualifications\n\nMicrosoft, VMware, or Azure certifications (preferred).\n\nExperience with enterprise backup and disaster recovery solutions.\n\nKnowledge of PowerShell scripting and automation.\n\nFamiliarity with IT monitoring tools and security best practices.\n\nExperience working in a hybrid cloud environment and managing IT infrastructure projects.\n\nWhy Join Epicenter?\n\nWe believe in investing in our people.
