Product Developer, Sr

As a Senior Product Developer at Epicor, you will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, and maintaining product features across frontend, backend, database, and integration layers. You will help deliver secure, high-performing solutions that scale for enterprise workloads while partnering closely with Product Management, Quality Assurance, UX, and cross-functional teams. You will be responsible for driving technical excellence through designreviews,codequalityimprovements,mentoring,andcontinuousinnovation.Weareseekingapplicantswithstrongtechnicalexpertise,acollaborativemindset,andapassionforsolvingcomplexproblemswithmoderntechnologiesandAI-enabledtools.

Whatyouwillbedoing:

• Design,develop,test,andmaintainnewandexistingapplicationfeaturesacrossthesoftwaredevelopmentlifecycle.

• BuildresponsiveuserexperiencesusingReact,Angular,orsimilarmodernwebframeworks.

• Developbackendservices,businesslogic,APIs,andintegrationsusingPython,Django,orcomparabletechnologies.

• CreateandoptimizeSQLqueries,databasemodels,anddataprocessestosupportscalableenterpriseapplications.

• Leadtechnicaldesigndiscussions,participateincodereviews,andcontributetoarchitecturalandsolutionplanningdecisions.

• Investigatesoftwaredefects,identifyrootcauses,andimplementsustainable,long-termsolutionsthatimproveproductqualityandperformance.

• Mentordevelopers,promotedevelopmentbestpractices,andleverageAItoolsandtechnologiestoenhanceproductcapabilitiesandteamproductivity.

Whatyouwilllikelybring:

• 5+years'experienceinsoftwaredevelopment,withdemonstratedsuccessdeliveringmodernwebapplicationsandenterprise-scalesolutions.

• StrongexperiencewithReact(orasimilarmodernUIframework),Python,Djangoorcomparableframeworks/ORMs,SQL,APIs,andfull-stackwebdevelopment.

• Deepunderstandingofsoftwarearchitecture,testingmethodologies,debuggingtechniques,applicationsecurity,andperformanceoptimization.

• Experiencedesigning,building,andsupportingintegrations,RESTfulAPIs,anddata-drivenapplications.

• Stronganalytical,problem-solving,communication,andcollaborationskills,withtheabilitytoworkeffectivelyacrosstechnicalandbusinessteams.

• BachelorofSciencedegreeinComputerScience,SoftwareEngineering,arelatedfield,orequivalentprofessionalexperience.

• ExperiencewithAI-powereddevelopmenttoolssuchasGitHubCopilot,Codex,Claude,orsimilartechnologies.
