The Data Platform team sets the technical direction for how Epidemic Sound works with data, helping other teams work independently with modern data infrastructure.\nWe believe the best collaboration happens in the same room. This role is hybrid, based at our Stockholm HQ, with the expectation that you'll spend the majority of your time in the office with the team.\nYour key responsibilities include\nOwning team health, individual growth, and delivery for the Data Platform team.\n\nAligning the platform's roadmap with the broader engineering and data strategy.\n\nStaying hands-on, contributing directly to the team's day-to-day work.\n\nPartnering closely with engineering and product leaders company-wide to align platform direction with their needs.\n\nManaging relationships with third-party suppliers supporting the data platform.\n\nRequirements\nA few years of experience as an Engineering Manager, with the ability to turn ambiguous, high-level plans into tangible, actionable work.\n\nProven experience building and maintaining data platforms.\n\nWillingness to work hands-on as an individual contributor when needed.\n\nAn independent mindset paired with strong communication skills, able to bridge technical conversations with engineers and engage effectively with cross-domain and external stakeholders.\n\nExperience with BigQuery, GCS, Airflow (Cloud Composer), Pub/Sub, and Snowplow.\n\nIt would also be music to our ears if you have\nExperience with data modeling (dbt).\n\nEqual opportunity employer\n We believe that bringing people together from different backgrounds, experiences and perspectives makes for a healthy workplace, a more successful business and a better world.
