This role is ideal for experienced C#/.NET Software Engineers who are passionate about building intelligent enterprise applications using modern AI technologies.\nThis is a software engineering-first role, where approximately 70% of your work focuses on designing and developing scalable enterprise applications using C#/.NET, while 30% involves integrating AI capabilities using Python, Large Language Models (LLMs), Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), Model Context Protocol (MCP), and agentic frameworks.\nYou'll help build AI-powered operational platforms that automate complex workflows, intelligently route work, validate operational instructions, and enable AI agents to interact seamlessly with enterprise systems.\nYou'll also help drive modern engineering practices using Azure DevOps and contribute to the evolution of Epiq's AI-enabled operational ecosystem.\nKey Responsibilities\nSoftware Engineering\nDesign, develop, and maintain scalable enterprise applications using C#/.NET and ASP.NET Core.\n\nBuild RESTful APIs, backend services, and microservices that power AI-enabled applications.\n\nDevelop clean, maintainable, and production-ready software following engineering best practices.\n\nCollaborate with architects, product owners, and cross-functional engineering teams to deliver high-quality solutions.\n\nEngineer reusable components with a strong focus on scalability, reliability, performance, and security.\n\nIntegrate internal and third-party platforms into Epiq's operational ecosystem.\n\nUtilize Azure DevOps for agile delivery, source control, CI/CD, and work management.\n\nAI Application Development\nBuild AI-powered features using Python and modern LLM technologies.\n\nDevelop intelligent agents that automate operational workflows and business processes.\n\nDesign and implement Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) solutions.\n\nBuild and integrate Model Context Protocol (MCP) services and tools.\n\nDevelop multi-agent workflows using modern agentic frameworks.\n\nIntegrate enterprise applications with LLM services through APIs.\n\nApply prompt engineering and AI evaluation techniques to improve solution quality.\n\nModernize existing operational automations using AI-enabled architectures.\n\nRequired Qualifications\n5+ years of professional software development experience.\n\nStrong hands-on experience developing enterprise applications using C#/.NET and ASP.NET Core.\n\nProficiency in designing REST APIs and microservices.\n\nExperience with SQL Server or other relational databases.\n\nStrong understanding of object-oriented programming, software design patterns, and scalable system design.\n\nExperience with Git, Azure DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and Docker.\n\nAI Experience\nPractical experience building AI-enabled applications using:\nPython\n\nLarge Language Models (LLMs)\n\nRetrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG)\n\nVector databases and embeddings\n\nPrompt engineering\n\nAI API integrations (OpenAI, Azure OpenAI, Anthropic, Gemini, etc.)\n\nExperience with one or more of the following is preferred:\nSemantic Kernel\n\nLangGraph\n\nCrewAI\n\nAutoGen\n\nOpenAI Agents SDK\n\nWorking knowledge of:\nModel Context Protocol (MCP)\n\nAgent orchestration\n\nTool calling\n\nAI workflow automation\n\nPreferred Qualifications\nExperience with Microsoft Azure and Azure AI services.\n\nAzure OpenAI or Azure AI Foundry.\n\nKubernetes and containerized deployments.\n\nEvent-driven or distributed
