mining engineering teams in evaluating operational processes and identifying opportunities to improve productivity.\n\n Assist with mining equipment assessments, performance monitoring, and operational efficiency initiatives.\n\n Participate in projects that improve equipment utilisation, reduce downtime, and optimise mining operations.\n\n Collect and analyse operational data to support the programme’s eligibility criteria.\n\n A solid understanding of mining methods, mine operations, production processes, and mining safety principles.\n\n An interest in mining equipment, automation, digital technologies, and operational optimisation.\n\n Strong analytical, numerical, and problem-solving skills.\n\n Good written and verbal communication skills.\n\n Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.\n\n Familiarity with mining software, mine planning tools, or engineering applications will be an advantage.\n\n The ability to work effectively with multidisciplinary teams and learn from experienced professionals.\n\n A proactive attitude, willingness to learn, and commitment to continuous improvement.\n\n Strong organisational skills, attention
