This role reports directly to the Warehouse Manager. This position exists to safely and efficiently manufacture, test, manage and dispatch hose assemblies while maintaining high standards of quality, inventory accuracy, customer service and workplace safety. The role supports operational effectiveness by ensuring hose shop activities are completed on time, in accordance with ProReman procedures and customer requirements.\nKey Responsibilities of the role:\nManufacture, assemble and test hose assemblies in accordance with customer specifications, quality standards and ProReman procedures.\nEnsure all hose assemblies are correctly identified, tested and documented prior to release.\nOperate hose assembly equipment and tools safely and effectively.\nPlan and organise daily tasks to meet production schedules and customer delivery requirements.\nPrioritise workloads to ensure deadlines and service commitments are achieved.\nMaintain high standards of workmanship and product quality.\nPerform quality checks throughout the assembly and testing process.\nIdentify opportunities for process improvements, waste reduction and increased operational efficiency.\nMonitor hose, fitting and component inventory levels.\nAssist with general warehousing duties as required, including receiving, storage, picking, packing and freight activities.\nComply with all workplace health and safety requirements, policies, procedures and work instructions.\nWork collaboratively with warehouse, technical support and operational teams to achieve business objectives.\nMaintain the hose shop and warehouse in a clean, organised and safe condition.\n\nKey Competencies to be successful in the role:\nKnowledge & Skills:\nUnderstanding of hose assembly manufacturing, testing and inspection processes.\nKnowledge of warehouse operations, inventory control and stock management practices.\nUnderstanding of quality assurance principles and continuous improvement methodologies.\nKnowledge of workplace health and safety (WHS) requirements, risk management and safe work practices.\nUnderstanding product specifications, technical manuals, work instructions and operational procedures.\nKnowledge of dispatch, packaging and freight preparation requirements.\nFamiliarity with inventory management systems and warehouse documentation.\nAbility to work autonomously or as part of a team.\nAbility to assemble and test hose assemblies accurately and efficiently.\nStrong attention to detail with a commitment to quality and accuracy.\nEffective planning and organisational skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines.\nSound problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.\nInventory management and stock control skills.\nAbility to read and interpret technical specifications, work instructions and product information.\nStrong communication and teamwork skills.\nAbility to work independently with minimal supervision while contributing to team objectives.\nCompetent computer skills, including the use of inventory, warehouse, or ERP systems.\nAbility to maintain accurate records and documentation.\nHigh level of safety awareness and commitment to safe work practices.\nEducation, Qualifications, Experience, Tickets, Licenses:\nPrevious experience in hose assembly, hydraulic components, manufacturing, warehousing, or a related industrial environment preferred.\nPrevious experience in Hose making highly regarded\nExperience in inventory management and warehouse operations.\nCurrent Forklift License (LF)\nCurrent driver’s license\nExperience using warehouse management or inventory systems is advantageous.\nDemonstrated ability to work in a quality-focused and safety-conscious environment\nPersonal Attributes:\nReliable, punctual and accountable.\nStrong customer service focus.\nPositive attitude and willingness to learn.\nFlexible and adaptable to changing priorities.\nSelf-motivated with a proactive approach to work.\nCommitment to continuous improvement and operational excellence.\nAbility to work collaboratively and contribute to a positive team culture.\n\nIt all starts with people.
