You will be working with existing products where we focus on small continual improvements and some custom solutions to meet customer needs. Typically, the work is often related to mechanical design of hydraulic breakers, hydraulics circuits and controls. Internal cross functional contacts are essential as well as external contacts with suppliers and others. The work covers hands on calculation, concept development and realization, 3D CAD design and modeling, drawing detailing, analysis, trouble shooting, support to production and products specifications.\nJob Responsibility:\nLead design projects involving hydraulic breakers, control systems, and structural components. \nDevelop 3D CAD models and detailed drawings using PTC Creo Parametric. \nManage engineering change processes through PLM systems (Teamcenter/Windchill). \nCollaborate with cross-functional teams including production, sourcing, quality, and service.\nConduct design reviews, FEA analysis, and technical validations. \nSupport prototype development and field testing. \nResolve complex field issues and provide technical guidance. \nEnsure compliance with international standards and safety regulations. \nMentor and guide junior engineers and designers.\nRequired Competencies:\nExperience in performing advanced engineering calculations & finite element analysis (FEA). \nProficient with PTC Creo Parametric or equivalent 3D CAD software\nUnderstanding of Bills of Materials (BOMs)\nKnowledge in Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) software Teamcenter/windchill or similar\nExposure to heavy equipment manufacturing such as mining, construction, or agriculture\nExperience with BOM management, ERP systems, and manufacturing processes.\nAbility to compile and present technical data clearly and concisely.\nIn-depth knowledge of machining, heat treatment, and welding standards.\nAbility to generate creative solutions to problems and work in a fast-paced environment which requires multi-tasking capability.\nAbility to work in teams.\nTarget oriented, motivated, positive, dynamic personality with strong analytical skills. \nYou have great communication skills; you listen to people and value their opinion.\nExperience Requirements\nExposure to heavy equipment manufacturing such as mining, construction, or agriculture\nAwareness about machining and heat treatment process.\nKnowledge of ERP system.\nPrior experience in Mining and Manufacturing industry is preferred.\nBE / B.Tech. Mechanical Engineering with 5-8-year experience\nME/M. Tech. Mechanical Engineering with 3-6-year experience\n\nIt all starts with people.
