This role supports production troubleshooting, process implementation, documentation, data collection, testing, tooling, continuous improvement initiatives, and new product introduction activities. The position works closely with Manufacturing Engineering, Production, Quality, Supply Chain, and other cross-functional teams to ensure safe, efficient, and repeatable production processes.\nWork Type: Onsite\nShift Timings: Friday-Sunday shift from 6:00 AM-4:30 PM with a 10-hour shift premium\nResponsibilities:\nSupport Manufacturing Engineers with the implementation and improvement of manufacturing processes, tooling, fixtures, equipment, and production methods.\nTroubleshoot production issues and collaborate with Engineering and Production teams to identify and implement effective solutions. \nDevelop, maintain, and improve work instructions, process documentation, standard work, and manufacturing records.\nCollect and analyze production data to support engineering studies, process improvements, production standards, and continuous improvement initiatives.\nParticipate in root cause investigations and support corrective actions related to production and quality concerns.\nAssist with Lean Manufacturing initiatives, including 5S, Kaizen, Poka-Yoke, waste reduction, and standard work implementation.\nSupport installation, validation, and implementation of manufacturing equipment, tooling, fixtures, and production resources.\nAssist with plant layout changes, workstation improvements, material flow optimization, and process implementation activities.\nSupport New Product Introduction (NPI) activities by preparing production areas, tooling, documentation, materials, and processes.\nProvide direct technical support and training to production personnel on new processes, tooling, and manufacturing methods.\nMaintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with company quality systems, safety standards, and ISO requirements.\nKnowledge/Education:\nHigh school diploma or GED required.\nMinimum of 2+ years of experience in manufacturing, production support, industrial technology, maintenance, engineering support, or a related technical field preferred.\nTechnical certificate or associate degree in Manufacturing Technology, Engineering Technology, Industrial Technology, or a related field preferred.\nEquivalent combination of education, technical training, and relevant experience may be considered.\nExperience supporting Manufacturing Engineering activities is a plus.\nStrong understanding of manufacturing processes, production operations, engineering drawings, technical documentation, and Lean Manufacturing principles.\nBasic computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office and the ability to learn manufacturing and engineering systems.\nSkills and Abilities:\nStrong technical troubleshooting and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify manufacturing issues and support corrective actions.\nHands-on approach with experience working directly on production floors, equipment, tooling, fixtures, and manufacturing processes.\nDetail-oriented with a strong focus on quality, accuracy, and repeatable results.\nContinuous improvement mindset with the ability to identify opportunities to improve safety, quality, productivity, ergonomics, and efficiency.\nStrong teamwork and collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively across Manufacturing Engineering, Production, Quality, and Supply Chain teams.\nEffective verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate technical information clearly.\nOrganized and accountable, with the ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining accurate documentation and process records.\nAdaptable and responsive in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.\nThis job description is not intended to be an exhaustive list of all duties, responsibilities, or qualifications associated with the job.
