In this role you’ll work with MRS related products and projects in the MRS engineering function.\nWork Type:\nHybrid, 3-days in office\nResponsibilities:\nIdentify and compile information on new components from suppliers and decide which items require further breakdown into their constituent spare parts.\nWork together with suppliers regarding spare parts levels and creation of kits. Use input from supplier, engineering, service and marketing to determine which parts to supply.\nEnsure that available components are clearly identifiable and when necessary, presented with an exploded view of the article.\nSupport master data completeness.\nDevelop customized components and product upgrades.\nCreate models and release drawing(s) and bill(s) of material.\nParticipate in development projects of Epiroc Drilling Solutions products and features, such as technology upgrades and new options.\nSupport MRS other internal functions with engineering input.\nInitiate/investigate/evaluate/drive cost reduction cases in collaboration with Sourcing function.\nClaim and answer ACIGN issues in a timely manner.\nKnowledge, Skills, & Abilities:\nExcellent computer skills including knowledge of MS Office suite.\nCreo and Teamcenter experience, preferred.\nHydraulic and electrical experience, preferred.\nExcellent interpersonal and communication skills, including English.\nAnalytical and well organized.\nTeam player who is open-minded and flexible.\nDecision maker who can work independently.\nAbility to generate creative solutions to problems and work in a fast-paced environment which requires multi-tasking capability.\nThis job description is not intended to be an exhaustive list of all duties, responsibilities, or qualifications associated with the job.
