Whether you already have mechanical experience or simply possess strong mechanical aptitude and a willingness to learn, we provide comprehensive on-the-job training to help you succeed.\nWorking a Monday to Friday (5/2) roster, you'll enjoy stable full-time employment, regular overtime opportunities and the security of working within a well-established business servicing the mining and industrial sectors.\nThe Opportunity\nYour responsibilities will include:\nTesting, servicing and repairing submersible pumps\nLoading and unloading pumps, components and workshop stock\nCompleting delivery dockets and associated documentation\nMaintaining a safe, clean and organised workshop environment\nConducting deliveries and site visits as required, including underground mining operations\nSupporting workshop operations to ensure equipment is prepared and delivered to customer requirements\nAs part of the JTMEC team, you will receive professional on-the-job training across all aspects of pump maintenance and repair, ensuring we continue to deliver the high standards our customers have come to expect.\nAbout You\nTo be successful in this role, you will have:\nBasic practical knowledge of hand tools\nA strong work ethic and willingness to learn new skills\nThe ability to work independently and as part of a team\nA reliable, honest and safety-focused approach to work\nA current C Class Driver's Licence\nGood verbal and written communication skills\nA genuine commitment to maintaining a Zero Harm safety culture\nPrevious mechanical, workshop, mining or pump industry experience will be highly regarded but is not essential.\nPreferred Qualifications\nThe following licences and qualifications are advantageous but not required:\nMR or HR Driver's Licence\nForklift Licence\nMechanical trade qualification or strong mechanical aptitude\nCurrent LVR/CPR certification\nWhat We Offer\nAt JTMEC, our people are our strength.
