This role involves receiving and verifying incoming goods, including parts and manufacturing supplies, as well as processing customer orders through approved logistics and shipping providers. Attention to detail and integrity are crucial, as maintaining an accurate inventory system is vital to our plant operations. The ideal candidate will be a team player, able to work both independently and collaboratively.\nResponsibilities:\nPick, pack, ship, and invoice orders according to the printed shipping list or request.\nReceive parts and materials (both physically and in the system), verify against packing slips or material travelers, and deliver items to their correct inventory locations.\nCollaborate with planners, customer service, and buyers to resolve issues when needed.\nParticipate in continuous improvement initiatives and proactively identify areas for process improvement within your scope.\nAdhere to all standard operating procedures, including CTPAT compliance.\nPerform cycle counts on parts and tools as required.\nSafely operate overhead cranes, jib hoists, forklifts, and other lifting equipment, with on-site training and certification provided prior to use.\nWork Type: This position requires onsite work in Milwaukie, OR.\nThe compensation for this position is between $20.00 and $23.00 hourly, depending on experience and qualifications. Details will be provided during the interview process.\nKnowledge/Education:\nHigh school diploma preferred\nMinimum 1-year experience with proper lifting techniques and lifting devices (chains, straps, slings), as well as equipment like electric pallet jacks, forklifts, hand trucks, and overhead cranes, is preferred.\nSkills and Abilities:\nPrevious shipping and/or receiving experience is highly preferred.\nFamiliarity with M3 and third-party logistics software is a plus.\nBasic knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite programs\nPhysical Requirements\nContinuous standing; repetitive motion of hand/wrist.\nAbility to lift up to 40 pounds independently.\nFrequent bending; twisting; crouching; repetitive motion of elbow/shoulder; pushing/pulling.\nIntermittent walking\nWork Environment\nExposure to typical manufacturing areas and will require the use of personal protective equipment such as safety shoes, safety glasses, and in some areas hearing protection may be required.\nThe work environment may include a workstation equipped with a computer as required for the job.\nTeam members must be mobile enough to navigate the manufacturing shop floor safely including walking and standing for up to four hours at a time.\nThe physical environment may require working both inside and outside in heat/cold, wet/humid, and dry/arid conditions.\nAbout us.
