Strong communication skills and a proactive mindset will help you thrive in our team.\nTo succeed, you bring:\nBachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field \n3+ years of experience as a Data Engineer or in a similar data-focused role\nAdvanced SQL skills, including optimization and working with large datasets\nStrong knowledge of Apache Spark (PySpark / Scala, Spark SQL)\nHands-on experience with Cloud infrasturcture (AWS, GC, Azure)\nGood Python skills for data processing and automation\nStrong skills in data modeling, including merging, joining, filtering, and transforming structured and semi-structured data\nAbility to build clean, validated, and deduplicated datasets that accurately reflect business rules\nExperience with dimensional modeling, star schemas, and domain-oriented modeling \nDomain understanding: ability to understand the needs of business stakeholders and translate them into actionable data product designs\nExperience working iteratively with stakeholders to refine and improve data products over time\nAbility to challenge requirements, propose better solutions, and ensure alignment with business value\nLocation and other\nThis position is located in Prague, Czech Republic.
