We clearly aim to be our customers’ first choice.\nPosition : Site Manager-RD Mines\nRoles & Responsibilities:\nSafety, Compliance & Governance\nEnsure full compliance with Epiroc Code of Conduct, applicable safety requirements, environmental standards, statutory requirements, and customer/site-specific policies.\nDemonstrate visible safety leadership and ensure engineers, technicians and supporting teams consistently follow safe and environmentally responsible working practices.\nEnsure effective implementation and follow-up of safety interactions, risk assessments, inspections, audits, incident investigations and corrective actions.\nOperational & Maintenance Management\nAssist the Operations Manager (OM) in managing Epiroc Mining India Pvt. Ltd. assets to achieve optimum equipment performance, reliability and availability at the lowest sustainable total cost of ownership.\nTake ownership of overall site operational results, contractual commitments, service targets and agreed KPIs.\nEnsure effective planning and execution of Preventive, Corrective and Predictive Maintenance, inspections, condition monitoring, backlog management and major component replacements.\nDrive improvement in key maintenance indicators including machine availability, reliability, MTBF, MTTR, PM/CBM compliance and backlog closure\nEnsure proper Root Cause Analysis (RCA) for repetitive and critical failures, with timely implementation and effectiveness monitoring of corrective/preventive actions.\nReview equipment health and maintenance performance regularly and initiate improvement actions to minimize breakdowns and unplanned downtime.\nPlanning, Spares & Cost Control\nEnsure critical-parts availability through effective inventory management, min-max planning, forecasting and major-component planning.\nCoordinate maintenance planning along with site planner with parts requirements so that planned jobs and major overhauls are adequately supported.\nOptimize site operating and maintenance costs without compromising safety, reliability, contractual obligations or equipment performance.\nDrive effective utilization of manpower, tools, infrastructure and other site resources.\nContract & Commercial Performance\nEnsure achievement of contractual KPIs, particularly machine availability, reliability, service performance and profitability.\nMonitor site performance against agreed targets and initiate recovery plans where performance falls below expectations.\nSupport the OM with site performance reviews, forecasts, operational risks, cost-control initiatives and business improvement opportunities.\nCustomer Management\nAct as a key operational interface with the customer and maintain a customer-centric approach across the site team.\nConduct regular customer meetings to understand operational priorities, equipment concerns and upcoming requirements, and translate agreed actions into field execution.\nMaintain transparent communication regarding machine performance, major breakdowns, maintenance plans, critical spares and improvement actions.\nEnsure timely closure of customer concerns and agreed action points.\nPeople Leadership & Development\nLead, coach and develop Team Leaders and site personnel, creating clear accountability for safety, maintenance quality, productivity and operational results.\nDevelop the leadership capability of Team Leaders while identifying and grooming potential talent in coordination with the OM.\nConduct Performance & Development Reviews, provide constructive feedback, identify competency gaps and establish development/training plans.\nPromote teamwork, accountability, ownership, innovation and continuous improvement.\nEnsure adequate manpower competency and deployment according to operational requirements.\n\nQualification, Skills and Experience:\nB.E / Diploma in Electrical /Electronics / Mechanical Engineering\n5 to 10 years of experience in similar field.\nExperience of handling team more than 50 is preferred.\nMin. 5 years supervisory experience on similar roles and additionally 5 years' experience on team leader role. He must have handled a maintenance workforce of more than 50 people.\nGood communication skills oral & written\nFinancial acumen and understanding of cost implications and costing models.\nUnderstanding equipment reliability and availability requirements and implications\nConflict management skills\nSound customer liaison and negotiation skills\nExcellent Presentation Skills.\nKey competencies required for this role:\n1.
