You will play a critical role in supporting company projects by identifying, developing, and managing qualified suppliers that meet our competitive cost, quality, and delivery standards. Your collaboration with cross-functional teams such as SDE (Supplier Development Engineering), RD (Research & Development), and D&D (Design & Development) will ensure smooth supplier integration and alignment with the company's technical and commercial requirements.\nKey Responsibilities\nSupport ongoing company projects by searching for and developing stable and qualified suppliers alongside the SDE and RD teams.\nNegotiate competitive total costs with suppliers to achieve cost efficiency without sacrificing quality.\nWork closely with the SDE team to establish and implement quality improvement targets and programs for all new suppliers.\nCoordinate with the D&D team to maintain clear and effective communication with suppliers, ensuring they fully comprehend Epiroc's lead time, technical specifications, and quality requirements.\nTake full ownership of the process from initial sample placement through to full verification and supplier qualification.\nManage acceptable supplier lead times to align with project timelines and ensure smooth transition from sample to batch production.\nImplement and facilitate supplier phase-in and phase-out activities, coordinating closely with all relevant stakeholders.\nDevelop and organize supplier evaluation plans for all local suppliers based on TSQP standards, while tracking and driving improvements in supplier quality.\nTake responsibility for overall supplier quality management and support Supplier Quality Engineers (SQE) in resolving quality issues.\nConduct regular price negotiations (1-2 times per year) with local suppliers with a focus on ongoing cost reduction.\nDrive continuous cost savings initiatives through localization strategies and supply chain optimization.\nNegotiate lead times and payment terms with local suppliers to meet corporate financial and operational targets.\nMonitor supplier On-Time Delivery (OTD) performance against targets and initiate improvement actions as needed.\nFoster positive and transparent relationships with suppliers based on open communication, integrity, and mutual respect.\nAdminister and manage supply agreements, ensuring all appendices are signed, archived correctly, and accessible.\nEnsure that all commercial master data including pricing, lead time, and minimum order quantity (MOQ) is accurate and up to date in the system.\nRequired Qualifications and Skills\nUniversity degree or higher in Mechanical Engineering or related fields.\nMinimum of 3 years of experience in procurement and sourcing, preferably in a technical or engineering environment.\nStrong negotiation skills with proven ability to assess vendor capabilities and drive competitive agreements.\nExcellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks, meet deadlines, and demonstrate initiative as a self-starter.\nProfessional interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills, with fluency in English required.\nAbility to adapt and thrive in a multicultural environment and collaborate effectively within diverse teams.\nHigh ethical standards and commitment to executing responsibilities with integrity.\nResult-oriented mindset with openness to innovative thinking and continuous improvement.\nWhy Join Us?\nBy joining our team, you become part of a knowledgeable and supportive network of colleagues who are passionate about collaboration, commitment, and innovation.
