This includes processing Customer Center orders for Customers and the Service Department and participating in Inventory Cycle Counts. General warehouse duties such as cleaning and organizing contribute to maintaining a safe work environment.\nWork Type: Onsite\nShift Timings: Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM-3:30 PM\nResponsibilities:\nUnload trucks; verify quantity and other specifications; check for\ndiscrepancies in purchase order number or vendor packing list information.\nStock and store in assigned or designated warehouse areas.\nLoad and secure a variety of company products (components or parts) for shipment by truck or designated carrier. Pack, wrap, box, crate and otherwise prepare for shipping.\nCut, and secure strapping, tie-downs, bracing, chocks, and other support materials.\nOperate sit-down and stand-up forklift used to store or transport material to designated inside and outside storage areas.\nCheck material handling equipment, fork trucks and storage facilities daily.\nReport all unsafe conditions to supervisor. Maintain fuel, coolant, and lubricants in vehicle.\nIf electric, assure that batteries are fully charged at beginning of shift.\nFollow prescribed safety regulations / guidelines.\nPerform other duties as required or directed.\nOccasional, InfrequentTrain new hires\nChase parts and fill in necessary paperwork\n\nKnowledge/Education:\nHigh School Diploma or GED required\nExperience with 5S and Lean Manufacturing processes preferred.\nPrevious experience working within a warehouse and operating a forklift is encouraged but not required.\nBasic computer experience.\nSkills and Abilities:\nRequired to read, write and comprehend English\nRequires reading, writing, adding, subtracting and following instructions.\nWork from parts lists, shop orders, requisitions.\nMake simple use of drawings.\nMaintain records and reports.\nBe able to communicate effectively and work well within a team environment.\nGood problem-solving skills and be able to adapt to changing situations.\nGood organizational skills and attention to detail with a focus on accuracy.\nThis job description is not intended to be an exhaustive list of all duties, responsibilities, or qualifications associated with the job.
