As part of the global Epiroc Group, with multiple branches across Australia and over 250 employees, we have the resources, equipment, safety record and experience to take on any electrical challenge.\nTHE OPPORTUNITY:\nWe are currently seeking an experienced Financial Accountant to join our high-performing team based in Sydney or Orange, NSW, on a permanent full-time basis.\nThis is an exciting opportunity for a motivated finance professional to play a key role in supporting business performance through accurate financial reporting, commercial analysis and strong stakeholder engagement. Working closely with operational and finance leaders, you will contribute to informed decision-making, ensure compliance with financial obligations and drive continuous improvement across financial processes and systems.\nKey Responsibilities:\nPreparing and analysing monthly management reports, budgets, forecasts and cash flow projections. \nPartnering with finance and operational leaders to improve financial performance, accountability and business outcomes. \nProviding financial analysis and insights, including profitability, labour recovery, cost rates and profit and loss performance. \nManaging and supporting accounts receivable activities, including debtor reporting, collections oversight and cash flow management. \nAssisting with taxation compliance, including BAS, Payroll Tax, FBT and other statutory requirements. \nMaintaining balance sheet integrity through timely reconciliations, strong financial controls and governance processes. \nSupporting month-end and year-end reporting requirements, audits and compliance activities. \nIdentifying opportunities to enhance financial systems, reporting capabilities and business processes.\nAbout you:\nTo be successful in this role, you will possess:\nA degree qualification in Accounting, Commerce or a related discipline.\nA minimum of two years' experience in a financial accounting, management accounting or similar role.\nStrong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.\nExcellent communication skills and the ability to build effective working relationships across all levels of the business.\nThe ability to manage competing priorities and deliver high-quality outcomes within deadlines.\nA proactive approach to continuous improvement and a willingness to embrace new challenges and opportunities.\nThe ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while also operating independently when required.\nA strong commitment to accuracy, integrity and professional standards.\nIf you are a motivated accounting professional looking to make a meaningful contribution within a dynamic and collaborative environment, this is an excellent opportunity to further develop your career while supporting the ongoing success of the business.
