In this role, you’ll support the payroll team, oversee payroll processing and help ensure compliance across a diverse workforce in the mining and construction industries.\nYour responsibilities will include:\nSupervising and supporting the payroll team, including managing workloads and resolving complex queries\nOverseeing end-to-end payroll processing and checking payroll accuracy before finalisation\nSupporting the processing of new starters, staff movements and terminations\nEnsuring payroll practices align with company policies, awards, enterprise agreements and legislative requirements\nWorking with stakeholders to resolve payroll and timesheet issues\nAssisting with month-end payroll reporting and identifying opportunities to improve processes\nKey skills, knowledge and experience required:\nStrong experience in end-to-end payroll processing, with experience supervising or mentoring payroll staff\nExperience with a trade or FIFO workforce and timesheet administration\nSound knowledge of awards, enterprise agreements and payroll compliance\nStrong organisational skills, attention to detail and the ability to meet deadlines\nStrong systems experience; ADP, HR3 or Kronos experience is an advantage\nStrong Excel skills, including VLOOKUP and PivotTables\nExcellent communication and interpersonal skills\nEpiroc is an equal opportunity employer.
