You will be part of the PC Nashik Surface Division Management Team and the PC Nashik Strategic Sourcing Management Team.\nAs Sourcing Manager for the Surface Division, you will act as the key interface between Division Operations and Strategic Sourcing. The role will define and prioritize divisional sourcing needs, drive execution through Category Managers, Supplier Development and sourcing teams, and support improvements in safety, sustainability, quality, delivery, cost, localization and project readiness.\nReporting Relationship:\nThis position reports by solid line to the Divisional Operations Manager and by dotted line to the Strategic Sourcing Head.\nMain Tasks & Responsibilities\nBuild a Safety Always mindset in all sourcing activities.\nAct as the key coordination link between Surface Division Operations and the Strategic Sourcing team.\nParticipate in local and divisional forums to represent Surface Division sourcing priorities at PC Nashik.\nDefine and prioritize divisional sourcing projects aligned with Operations objectives and the divisional roadmap, and drive execution through Category Managers, Strategic Sourcing, Supplier Development, and supplier teams.Prepare business proposals for new product / transfers and drive required approvals.\nCoordinate localization actions and support required approvals.\nCoordinate with Sourcing and Supplier Development to ensure PQAP adherence for initial samples and smooth handover to Operations.\nTrack progress, risks, commitments, and escalations for sourcing projects impacting Surface Division performance.\n\nGuide and support teams in following defined procedures to ensure consistent quality & delivery performance.\nWork with Strategic Sourcing on supplier capacity mapping to firm up MDP requirements.\nParticipate in supplier selection and cost approval decisions with Strategic Sourcing.\nParticipate in routine design and sustenance reviews such as BOM reviews, VA/VE and CPI, and follow up to update and close sourcing actions.\nTrack supplier performance KPIs with Strategic Sourcing and coordinate improvement actions across quality, delivery, cost, capacity, and compliance.\nSupport PC sustainability roadmaps in line with Epiroc 2030 targets, with focus on supplier CO2 reduction.\nSupport to maintain strong long-term partnerships with strategic suppliers.\nExperience Requirements\nEngineering graduate with 10-15 years of experience in sourcing, procurement, supplier development, Project management.\nStrong understanding of sourcing processes, supplier performance, cost drivers, risk management, and operational needs.\nExperience in driving sourcing projects across Operations, Strategic Sourcing, Category Management, Supplier Development, Engineering, Quality, Supply Chain, and Finance.\nExposure to localization, product transfers, NPD readiness, PPAP, supplier qualification, and capacity follow-up.\nAbility to prepare business proposals, consolidate inputs, track actions, report KPIs, and manage escalations.\nGood analytical ability (advance excel, business analysis), ERP exposure, stakeholder communication, and ability to work through teams without direct authority.\nRequired Behaviors & Competencies\nFull end-to-end Ownership\nStakeholder management, influencing, and cross-functional collaboration.\nStrong coordination, follow-up discipline, and execution focus.\nProject management mindset with focus on actions, ownership, timelines, risks, and escalations.\nAnalytical thinking and data-driven reporting.\nWhy Someone Should Take This Job\nOpportunity to be part of the Surface Management Team at PC Nashik and contribute to divisional priorities.\nExposure to key business priorities such as safety, sustainability, quality, delivery, cost, localization, and project readiness.\nChance to drive high-impact sourcing projects through cross-functional teams.\nStrong visibility with Operations, Strategic Sourcing, divisional leadership, and supplier stakeholders.\nGood development platform for future roles in sourcing, supplier development, project management, or operations leadership\n\nIt all starts with people.
