Together, we lead the way to make mining and construction more sustainable.\nJoin Our Team as a Tax Manager!\n**Preferred location: Vespasiano (MG);São Paulo can also be considered **\nYour Mission as Tax Manager, you will step into a high-impact role, leading all statutory tax compliance and tax accounting. You will be instrumental in ensuring accurate and timely preparation of all tax-related filings and entries. This position involves close coordination with Epiroc Group Tax team and external advisory firms to drive strategic tax planning projects and ensure that returns and reports are prepared in accordance with local regulations.\nKey Responsibilities\n Tax Compliance & Reporting\nLead timely and accurate filing of all tax returns and reports (monthly, quarterly, annual) in compliance with federal, state, and municipal regulations.\nEnsure tax accounting records are accurate and aligned with IFRS, CPC, and internal standards.\nReview and approve tax calculations, including current and deferred taxes.\nOversee tax reporting submissions to Corporate Tax and monitor compliance across all filings.\nManage tax-related system updates (e.g., BPCS, Mastersaf) in line with legislative changes.\nMonitor withholding taxes and perform periodic reconciliations of key tax accounts.\n\nTax Strategy & Brazilian Tax Reform\nLead the company’s adaptation to Brazilian Tax Reform, including system and process changes.\nDevelop and maintain transfer pricing documentation in alignment with local regulations and global policies.\nSupport compliance with transfer pricing guidelines across the organization.\nProvide expert guidance on tax regulations and their business impact.\n\nAudit, Controls & Team Leadership\nCoordinate tax audits and manage relationships with internal/external auditors and authorities.\nPrepare responses and documentation for tax inspections and ensure successful audit outcomes.\nMonitor and optimize recovery of tax credits.\nLead, develop, and coach the tax team to achieve business and performance goals.\nParticipate in and lead cross-functional projects as required.\n\nYour profile:\nBachelor’s degree or equivalent in Accounting, Finance, Taxation, Law or related field, Active CRC registration (Brazilian CPA)\n7 years or more of relevant international tax experience in Big 4 or similar positions, with high-level experience in Brazilian tax legislation and technical tax requirements\nSolid proficiency in English and Portuguese (direct report to global team), Spanish is a plus.\nExperience in Mastersaf and BPCS, proficient in Excel and Microsoft tools\nExperience as a people manager, training and developing teams\nExperience in multi-national organizations with a broad global presence\nWe offer:\nFlexible meal allowance (Superflex Ticket)\nMedical and dental insurance\nLife insurance\nTotalPass (fitness/wellness benefit)\nPrivate pension plan\nExtended maternity and paternity leave\nTransportation assistance\nAnd more!\nIt all starts with people.
