In addition to leading the hourly workforce, this role coordinates with manufacturing engineering, materials, and product engineering to ensure products are completed on time and meet customer quality expectations.\nWork Type:Onsite\nSchedule: B Shift Schedule: Friday-Sunday, 5:00 AM-3:30 PM, including a 10-hour shift premium.\nResponsibilities:\nOrganize and supervise direct labor to ensure efficient use of labor resources\nAddress and resolve employee issues promptly and professionally\nAssign and manage personnel to meet targets for labor efficiency, productivity, and cycle time\nPrioritize tasks based on the rig schedule and adjust as needed to maintain production timelines\nSupport and coordinate with other functions to remove obstacles impacting performance\nPromote and enforce safe operating practices at all times\nCollaborate with Manufacturing Engineering to develop and maintain effective processes that ensure consistent quality output\nEnsure product quality by performing in-process inspections and addressing quality issues at the source\nMaintain organization and cleanliness in the department, including adherence to 5S standards\nApply and monitor operational cost control measures\nSupport capacity planning efforts and monitor product flow to meet schedule demands \nCoach and develop team members to enhance individual and team performance\nKnowledge/Education:\nBasic computer skills - Word and Excel\nAbility to read blueprints and read from a Bill of Materials (BOM)\nRoot cause analysis skills\nHeavy equipment knowledge\nLean Manufacturing Formal Education\nRequirement: AS or BS degree preferred; equivalent experience considered.\nMinimum Years of Experience Necessary: 5 years\nSkills and Abilities:\nStrong communication skills, able to clearly convey expectations, feedback, and updates across all levels\nDemonstrated leadership with the ability to train, coach, and mentor team members effectively\nCommitted to continuous improvement, with a focus on identifying opportunities and driving positive change\nPossesses a strong sense of urgency and the ability to act decisively in a fast-paced environment\nThis job description is not intended to be an exhaustive list of all duties, responsibilities, or qualifications associated with the job.
