Details will be provided during the interview process.\nResponsibilities:\nFollow safety procedures to maintain a safe work environment for all team members.\nAlign, position, and fit components into fixtures as instructed.\nSet up gas-shielded MIG welder and weld parts to specifications.\nRead blueprints and welding symbols to complete tasks.\nUse hand tools, clamps, and grinders to perform job duties.\nConduct basic maintenance on welding equipment.\nWeld simple assemblies without fixtures.\nMonitor and adjust robotic welder to ensure quality throughout the run.\nMaintain 5S standards and complete related duties.\nPerform tasks to meet quality and productivity goals.\nUnderstand and execute inventory paperwork and computer transactions when needed.\nAdhere to Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Cost (SQDC) metrics.\nMove within department/plant as assigned.\nKnowledge/Education:\nHigh School diploma or equivalent is preferred.\nMust have demonstrated skill level of wire feed (M.I.G.) welding.\nSkills and Abilities:\nGood mathematical skills\nAbility to read tape measure and blueprints.\nAble to use an oxygen/acetylene cutting torch.\nAbility to read and understand work order outings and instructions.\nAbility to lay out parts using weld fixture.\nPhysical Demands\nWhile performing the duties and responsibilities of this position, the member is frequently required to stand, walk, talk and hear, use hands and/or fingers to handle, touch objects, assemble parts, utilize tools or controls. They must have the ability to regularly lift up to 33 pounds using proper lifting techniques, carrying and moving parts, materials, and product. Ability to perform tasks at a standard rate. They must have hand and foot coordination to control and adjust equipment or tools.
