Join Episode Six today. \nWhat role we’re hiring for: \nWe are a growing fintech organization looking to add an Implementation Engineer (US shift) with hands-on Full Stack Development (Java) expertise- based in Chennai, India! \nWhat you’ll be responsible for in this role: \nImplementation Engineer work closely with internal E6 technical teams and our external clients. \nYou act as a technical bridge, helping customers see the biggest return from their investment in E6 technology and services. To excel, you bring strong technical skills and excellent people skills. \nThere are three distinct phases to the work of Implementation for each of our projects: Pre Implementation activities, Implementation and post-implementation support. \nDesign and develop custom components and enhancements using Java (Spring Boot, REST APIs) and modern front-end frameworks \nParticipate in code reviews and contribute to internal tooling, platform enhancements, and reusable modules. \nAs subject matter experts for our solutions, you also act as a mentor to your teammates, either formally (such as through training) or informally. \nGreat candidates will be proactive problem solvers and share our vision for customer success and have a focus on service improvements - such as through the development of re-usable content and recommendations. \nWhat experiences and skills are necessary to be successful in this role: \nThe successful candidate will bring experience supporting/implementing Java-based applications in the financial space, together with strong people skills and a focus on collaborative working. \nMandatory \n3-5 years of experience in Java full stack development, ideally in a client-facing or implementation role. \n3+ years’ experience in financial services \nExperience with SQL & NoSQL databases, CI/CD tools, and version control systems (Git). \nExperience in Linux / unix commands \nExperience querying RESTful APIs using PostMan or other tools \nHands-on experience with SFTP, PGP encryption, and secure file exchange protocols. \nIdentify opportunities to drive process efficiency and automation \nShould be flexible to work in shifts \nDesirable \nExperience working with payment processors, banks, fintech platforms, or card management systems \nExposure to AWS, containerization (Kubernetes), and observability tools. \nKnowledge of Agile methodologies, JIRA, and Confluence. \nKnowledge & Skills \nExcellent personal management and organization skills. \nExcellent communication skills, both verbal and written. \nAn analytical mindset and technical ability. \nAmbitious and driven to exceed expectations. \nAbility to communicate at all levels, build positive relationships with colleagues and clients and maintain excellent customer service skills. \nCredible and professional. \nAble to challenge appropriately and present solutions. \nHigh attention to detail. \nSelf-starting and able to work on own initiative. \nWhat makes a successful E6er? \nWe appreciate the unique backgrounds, skill sets, experiences, and contributions each E6er brings.
